  2. Please restore ethnicity filter

    I am Asian, and I would like to have the ethnicity filter option back. As a "minority", I don't think the filter option is racist. It offers me choices. Sometimes I want to search for Asians for example,, and if there is this option, it will make my search much easier to find.

  3. Distance Controls

    Allow a user to be able to set distance parameter for whom they are seeing. Meaning that I only want to see users who are within a set distance from me. And likewise for users who see me so we don’t waste our time viewing people outside of our desired location radius.

  6. The cost of Grindr

    I think you should do a reduction in your prices as they are absolutely outrageous!! I've always been happy with the basic one as I dont need to know if someones read my message or not, But, if your prices were lower more people would consider it. Why not try and and be the same prices as fellow apps, or just slightly at a higher rate.

  9. Make viewed me free again

    This is ridiculous now. Now you can only view profiles who have viewed you if you have an unlimited subscription.
    This is now starting to feel like grindr is pushing lower or poorer users of off the site by trying to force us to pay now to interact with users who have viewed our profile. This is a joke I get viewed from users who are like 8+ miles away sometimes and I can't even view their profile now.
    Why is grindr getting so money hungry u keep saying ads keep grindr free well I guess thats just a lie…

  11. Notifications that are grouped, detailed, and replyable

    Please bundle our new unread messages under one main notification, which can be pulled down (expanded) to view the individual messages grouped under it. Include each sender’s profile picture and display name, and allow us to reply to each sender individually, within the notification.

    (Currently, unpaid users just get a single, generic notification containing a count of their unread messages, while paid users only see their single most recent unread message. Non-grouped, non-detailed, non-replyable notifications like these are extremely outdated, especially for a messaging app.)

  12. Make the app less expensive

    Absolutely unaffordable in my country. It's the price of a mini fridge. Was a good app before, but not worth paying if you can only see 6 or less people from your area. Please fix this, rather increase the restrictions on the filters as you had in the past and have more people instead...because at this point, it isn't a social dating platform.

  14. Lower the price of Unlimited

    40 bucks a month, double that of Xtra for only a few more features is a straight up money grab.

    You should lower Xtra to $10 a month and Unlimited to 20. You’d have way more subscriptions.

  15. “Not interested” tap option

    Taps. Currently we have the flame, devil and friendly hello tap option. Why don’t we have a “not interested” tap option too? A lot of people have problems with being ignored by others when someone isn’t interested in them. However, people also cannot be bothered to reject others with words - it’s too much effort. This update to the tap mechanism could kill two birds with one stone. It makes it less time/energy consuming to reject people with just a click of a button.   17. Distance Reciprocity - users should only get to see other users’ distance if they are showing their own

    Unless located in a country with anti-gay legislation, users hiding their distance should not get to see distance on other profiles. This would inspire a much-needed culture of fair play and reciprocity on the app, while also incentivizing members to stop hiding and stop wasting people’s time. (Not to mention that with distance shown on more profiles, browsing would be easier and the overall user experience would improve.)

    I would like for Grindr to implement stricter verification for new and existing users in an effort to combat underage individuals posing as adults, bots, etc. I've heard a number of stories of men who have chatted with individuals who they thought were of legal age, only to find out upon meeting them that they're some horny teen.
