Bring back favorites tab
Bring back the old Favorites tab!
Switching Favorites to a filter means that every time I want to look at my favorites, I have to add the Favorite filter to my search screen. If I have other filters on, I have to reset them in order to see profiles I’ve favorited that meet those filters, forcing me to reset all my filters just to look at my favorites. This is so annoying!

Too many Fake Bot Accounts
Using Grindr has become increasingly frustrating. Despite paying for an Unlimited membership at $40/month, the overwhelming number of fake bot profiles has made the app nearly unusable. At this point, it feels like 90% of the interactions I receive are from bots rather than real people.
Considering the premium cost, this makes the service feel extremely poor in value. It’s disheartening to pay for features that are overshadowed by fake accounts and spam interactions. What should be an enjoyable and social experience has instead become exhausting and disappointing.
I hope Grindr takes stronger action to reduce the prevalence of fake/bot…

Thinking rationally, the price of XTRA is too high, and the application is not always used by people. Lower the price of XTRA

Filter out spam accounts
There are so many spam accounts with the same bio text. I have been flooded with taps from bot accounts to the point where I wonder what utility this app has anymore.

Get rid of bots/create a verification system
There are times when 8/10 users are all the same ‚person‘ with the same picture, stats and profile. These obviously are bots.
Get rid of these profiles and introduce some kind of verification/scanning algorithm to filter out these bots before they can even enter393 votes -

Get rid of hide. Return block
Hide doesn't work and has removed block feature. I want to block certain people and permanently block them and any new accounts. Get rid of hide. Says I must upgrade when I already am!

Spam
The spammer profiles and taps from spam profiles with nothing but links and only fans has gotten ridiculous!!!!! Reporting as spam does nothing . I get easily 20-40 an hour and no one ever taps me . Sick of the spammy scammers

Get rid of new favorites filter
The new favorites filter that moves the favorites button to the filters bar and applies active filters to favorites is hard to use.
It’s slower. I can’t filter by notes anymore, which sucks. And I don’t like that my active filters are applied to my favorites— I use active filters to find new guys. Guys that I’ve already added to favorites don’t need to be filtered.

Bots
I am sick and tired of bots. As a paid user, I get inundated with “taps” and messages from bots, “ 600-2000km away,” that says wanna see real sex join xxxx website dot com. ENOUGH Grindr. I am using this app less and less because it is annoying. Also taps from fake profiles, one photo of a onlyfans model, links leading to their fake IG and X and the only thing in their IG and X are forwarding links to onlyfans and just for fans. I pay Grindr XTRA. Why I have to see the Madonna ads? This is a violation of my contract since I'm a paying user. Remove all the Madonna things. Or at lest let me block her profile, or her ads. I've watched them a million times already: if I wanted to hear her music I would have by now.

We need a way to stop audio of Madonna announcing we’re on Grinder. This is CRITICAL. This violates privacy, is INAPPROPRIATE, and doesn’t at all fall in line with your safety and privacy policy you advertise on the app. You have NO right to “Out” UNSUSPECTING people -paid subscription or not. There is NO warning, NO way the shut it off and NO regard for those of us who pay for this and entrust you with our money and images. Please, please listen to us when we tell you we DON’T want this.

Bring back the old blocking button. The Hide function is ridiculous. It doesn't even work, the profile stays on the grid, taps + messages.
The old block button was much safer and user friendly then the new hide option. The hide button doesn't even work. If you hide a profile they stay on your grid, there taps and messages are still there, if they were in your favourites list they stay in your favourites list. So it's a completely redundant option as it doesn't actually hide anything.
Removing the option to block people, makes Grindr unsafe. If it's not returned I'll be deleting and never using this app again. We should have the option to block people for our own safety on a social…

Too many women
Since when did Grindr become an app for straight men and women?? The whole point was that it was for gay men looking for other gay men. A large number of the “women” actually appear to be scams trying to steal your money or data, but that’s not the point. Get rid of all the women on the app for gay men. I understand bisexual men looking for other men to join them and their partners; that’s not the issue. I am in no way interested in women sexually and it also makes Grindr feel like it is no longer…

Spam is out of control
I'm getting about five or six spam taps and/or messages every day. The developers need to do a much better job of restricting these profiles. For example: if a new profile send a bunch of taps in a very short time; if a profile jumps location too quickly (i.e. location spoofing); if they have "visit my socials" in their bio, or is just a straight up "go to my website" message, etc.
There is plenty that grindr COULD be doing to stop this.

Madonna
As a paid user I find it extremely frustrating to see useless things like Madonna or the Boost Advertisements. This can be something the free User Community is exposed to but paid users should have the option to opt out from such annoying advertising. Besides why is there a need to change the Grindr App Symbol into pink bc of Madonna….? I don’t get it
