Please allow mock location on Grindr
Please allow us to use mock location on grindr ASAP. Recently i got to know that my partner is cheating on me and i really wanted to catch him red handed while using grindr, but being not able to use mock location he could trace that my profile is visible to my area using explore.. so he wouldn't reply to me.. by using mock location i could trace and catch him red handed.
As i stay in a rural area and isolated place and whenever i make a plan to visit another city i could use mock location to explore…

BRING BACK THE ETHNICITY FILTER
Bring back the ethnicity filter as I would like the choice to choose what I like. I don't think it's fair to leave people with absolutely no choice to decide on what they want. I think the ethnicity filter made life easier it made it easier to find what YOU wanted.

Delivery & read receipt reliability improvements
Fix the message delivery status and read receipt bugs. The message status should update to "Delivered" once it has been delivered, and to "Read" once it's been opened.
The status of a sent message is supposed to change from Sent to Delivered if the recipient has the app open, but many times I’ve seen people online even hours or days later, and my message still shows as Sent, leading me to assume they haven’t got it. Reverse age filter update
So apparently in the new version update (31 January 2022) it’s no longer possible to filter on one age (min. 18 and max. 18). Now it’s only possible to search for ages with a 3/4 year range (min. 18 and max. 21).
Since this drastically reduces the amount of people you can find from a specific age, I’d like to recommend Grindr to reverse this decision!

Filter out the people we've messaged before
Filter out profiles we've chatted with in the past day, past week, past month, past two months, all time, etc. Or, give us a filter that shows us only profiles we've never chatted with. This will help us avoid those who never responded to us, so we can see/connect with only new people.

More defined trans tribes
There needs to be a division of trans woman, trans man, and trans admirer. Lumping everyone together is just annoying. Trans men and trans women are two very different groups. There are well-defined tribes that separate otter from bear, twink from daddy, and so on. But men seeking trans women have no separate tribe; they are just listed with the transsexuals. So it all gets very confusing. We need clearer trans categories.

Too many Fake Bot Accounts
Using Grindr has become increasingly frustrating. Despite paying for an Unlimited membership at $40/month, the overwhelming number of fake bot profiles has made the app nearly unusable. At this point, it feels like 90% of the interactions I receive are from bots rather than real people.
Considering the premium cost, this makes the service feel extremely poor in value. It’s disheartening to pay for features that are overshadowed by fake accounts and spam interactions. What should be an enjoyable and social experience has instead become exhausting and disappointing.
I hope Grindr takes stronger action to reduce the prevalence of fake/bot…

A ‘Not today’ function
A temporary blocking feature for when you want to ‘disappear’ from someone for a day or period of time. Think of all the times your just not in the mood for a certain someone and wish you could hide for a day, you still want to keep them as an option later. Just not now lol.

Block someone after they block you
A lot of users play games, then block you. How about an option to block them as well, AFTER they block you? This way they can't unblock you and then start again with a new pic or profile.
