More accurate location
There are a lot of times when I send my location or someone send there's and it's inaccurate. Even when showing distance between other users is not correct

Such malfunctions of the program can be caused by incorrect geolocation settings, you need to reset the settings to factory settings https://businessclassconsolidator.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-netherlands-amsterdam/ When I was traveling in Amsterdam, I constantly marked the geolocation, but I had to constantly change the settings because the program gave crashes.

App over priced. Location positioning is off by as much as 21-24 miles very often. My observation.
And not worth the experience for smaller areas in comparison to the number of successful connections -

It's difficult to identify that my partner is coming or not it would be easy if the location is shared live so that I come to know they are not lying

Hi,
I don't understand how the location algorithm for Grindr works, but it seems to be incorrect. As I'm scrolling through the profiles in my local area (a small town, Carrigaline, Ireland, see map for reference), once there are no more users in this area, the app starts showing profiles from a city that's 90 km away (Limerick, again see map). The issue is that Cork city is 12 km away, and no profiles from there are shown on my list, no matter how far I scroll. If, however, I use Grindr in Cork city, there seems to be hundreds of users there.
My conclusion is that the algorithm does not in fact use distance between users, but operates on another basis. This is very limiting for users that live in commuter towns or rural areas like myself. I am unable to access profiles that are close to me because of this.
I live in Ireland, which has very inconsistent mobile coverage (see 4G map of my region attached), which might contribute to this, but I'm not sure in what way this would affect.
Could you please look into this?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Oz -

Add a "Local Dating Locations" and "Local Dating Locations suggestions" option and let people earn "Brownie Points" for posting their dates and tagging the location/business of there past encounters. This could be used to market add sponsorships for businesses and let users know Local Locations to use for possible future engagements for s safe, clean, and perfect environment for new experiences. By Adding Rating Option and Tabs For "Tidiness" (sanitation/cleanliness), "Warmth (Safety/Securness) and "Taste" (Compatibly/Comfortableness) You Could Help Encourage Users To Earn "Brownie Points" That Can Be Earned By Posting Reviews And By Sharing Posted Reviews. Add a "Brownie Points" Category That Can Have Coupons and Gift Cards Available To Trade Earned Points For and Also Ways To Earn More "Brownies"

Please allow users to post locations other than their existing location. I might be at work but I want to share my home location. I can't do it.
If that is not possible atleast allow to change the exact current location within 1km radius. Because we don't want to give the very exact location. It's sometimes not safe.
All other apps allow this. This is the most annoying feature in GRINDR and we don't know why it makes sense for your team to kill our interests with this annoying restriction.
JUST STRANGELY ANNOYING. Also don't restrict this feature to XRta Users. Come on. Your competitors don't do that.

I suggest to show users location at least area and obligate users to show their position.

Travel Mode is mode that conveys the message to other users that a certain user is in motion. Travel Mode would be available from the Free Members and Up, as Safety should always be given and not be a privilege.
Travel Mode will work similar to app pinning, but ensures the user can't easily finger their way at a short wait at the red spotlight.
Simply, tap on Travel Mode in which a pop-up is asking you to confirm that you will be in motion and cannot pay full attention to any incoming messages. The app will then force you out the app. Unlike, being away for ten minutes, your profile will still be online for any potential matches to send a message. This way, your profile is allowed to can get the max taps as possible without babysitting your device.
Users who are not in motion will see a certain profile picture with a bright orange transparent film, similar to the blue "recently chatted" profiles. This will indicate that the user is in motion. The Traveler will still receive messages from the stationary, however it is understood that they are performing a task thag requires full attention. This can provide a reason for a lack of communication and unnecessary blocks.
To log back into the app, the user must set a 4 digit to complete the first task. There will be a stall time of 5 seconds. A pattern will be required for this gate. 3 seconds of stall will follow, with a simple swipe from the left side of the screen to right allows you to exit Travel Mode.
There are some positives and negatives within this system.
Positives:
- Ensure the driver to pay attention to the road and not risk a potentially-dangerous accident due to a certain ping.
- Provides more non-verbal communication
- App Lockout will only apply to the app and not the others as Maps will be useful.
- Stall System discourages users to pick up device at a traffic light and help the so the app to re-callibrate the user's position.
-Cons:
- Lock System: Locking the app is an XTRA function I believe to prevent kids from seeing things. The Stall System will work the same, but be provided to everyone.
- Updates about Hosting Conditions may change while the user is in motion.
- Checking the target destination. -

I agree completely. I live in a remote area and most locations are 40-50 miles away and due to small population, it is not unlikely to find someone outside my town but knowing if they are in Barstow, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Las Vegas or California City is very valuable information for deciding to even start a conversation that may eventually lead to a trip out of town. 100 miles in all directions is not helpful.
