Job Search/Hire
There have been plenty of times that I have home projects that I am working on, or home issues that need immediate attention.
I think it would be cool to hire a local gay or bi contractor/trade worker via Grindr, since the app shows distance and allows filtering. This could also be used for any legal for hire service.

les choix proposés pour définir son appartenance ethnique ne sont pas adaptés :
Blanc : pzt exemple au Maghreb vont se définir blanc ceux qui n ont pas la peau mate a´ors que cette catégorie est censée désignée le type europeen/caucasien.
Asiatique : l Iran est en Asie tout comme la Chine l Inde et la Thaïlande et pourtant aucun de ces peuples ne de ressemblent du tout
Homme du Moyen Orient cela fait référence essentiellement aux arabes ses Émirats Arabie Saoudite Qatar etc qui n ont rien a voir non plias ave les maghrébins.Qq suggestions de remplacement…

Expansion of body types
Adding slim to average and perhaps average to stocky to body type genre
I don’t fit slim or average , I have to waste valuable realestate stating I’m SLM to SLM-AVG build
I feel this would assist everybody as people’s definition of average (as with most things) varies
Clearly having a less rigid genre list would assist people in better describing themselves
As it stands we have beanpoles ( no offence as I love skinny guys) & peeps bordering on chubby describing themselves average
We have slim guys who clearly are not average but like myself (not slim slim) not…

Improvement/ Getting out of the "only for fuck" ?
Hello,
I curently see 187 people who click on my grindr each day who see my profile, but very few send a message. Some says, "you are sexy,....." but don't go further into conversation, most people don't have any conversation at all. I always have the feeling i have to go to people, otherwise they just don't speak at all. A lot of people do somth else in the mean-time, not even to mention them to be slow-respondant.....Am I weird ? or is this a common topic. That's really disturbing.

No me siento identificado con ninguna tribe. Underground, alternativo, por qué no existen? y sin embargo conceptos como macho o discreto que son términos que conducen al odio y por eso después nos matan como a Samuel, sí. Absolutamente hipócrita esta actitud por vuestra parte.

Position icons
I think it would be great to have “position icons”. Basically these would be icons like the emojis we use in nicknames for positions (up arrow for top, down for bottom, etc, with some ingenious extension for other positions like sides). These would display in the grid for example in the top right corner of the profile picture. This way we don’t need to open the profile to see somebody’s position.
What’s the motivation behind this idea?

Update the options of the Expectations category
Do we realize that the expectations category has been the same since the app came out. “Looking for”- dates, networking, and right now. Do we realize how one dimensional that is? We should be using the tags in this section rather than to lable and identity ourselves. I think we look for a broad and abstract expressionism for the relationships we are Looking For. because in a sense we are all looking for “relationships”.

Grindr Meeting Tool To Remove No Show People Away
Grindr should have a meeting tool. You arrange a meeting with someone and post a time and date. Once you meet the person, you tap the phone onto each other or scan the code to confirm the appointment. If the person doesn't meet you as planned and it is a non show, the account gets closed, and they have to open a new one again. This is pretty simple the person says yes or no. Response Likelihood Indicator
Many men on the app don’t seem to know that no response is a kind of response. In that light, if you could use all the data we know you have on people's profile to indicate the likelihood of a response to your profile. You could create a scoring metric for a user by using the fields that are/aren’t filled out, the options and words used in a bio for people they interact with the most. Scruff has something similar. I think Grindr dudes would appreciate a wingman of sorts to taper expectations.

48 Hour New Chat Response
When you message someone and they seem to be ignoring you which we all hate (for us sensitive lgbtqia members)… If the other person does not respond the new chat, it should automatically be deleted after 48 hours. So that way you would at least know they’re in some way interested so you know you aren’t wasting your time.
