Save the Unit System Choice
When I log back in after logging out, my choice for unit system in settings has been reset. I use metric and it defaults back to imperial. There should be a way of saving this in a user's profile.

Multiple accounts created by same person
I’m being harassed by the same people using different profiles. This has been on going for about two years. Now it’s becoming completely annoying, I can’t trust anyone, and feel as if they may be personally stalking me whether out or my home residence. This has gotten completely out of hand.

Sex Tracker?
Can you add a feature that lets you track whom you sleep with? Like let you flag it on their profile and compile a list of whom and when for you. This would make it easy to contact them if you catch something, which makes everyone a whole lot safer.

Needs ethnicity filter as originally designed
As of December 1 I stopped paying for Grindr. I noticed all these ads popping up and the app is decidedly worse without paying for it. However, I wont give them another cent and ignoring things that we want and things that help us as the app was originally designed to do. Believe it or not it was better when it first came out. I don’t see any improvements worth paying for especially removing the ethnicity filter, which is my single most important reason for deleting my subscription.

Please reinstate the race filter...!
Its silly to force certain ethnic groups down our throats..and time consuming as you have to delete profiles one by one to eventually see the guys you prefer. Please reinstate the race filter..you will eliminate a lot of frustration.

Let me swipe backwards from the left side of my screen again instead of tapping the X. Please!
Add phone based gestures back into the app for ease of use, also get rid of the yellow banner that slides down after you send a message from the profile screen. Gets in the way

Gender Filter
I get that Grindr wants to be inclusive and what not but alright it’s easy to ween out the females but there’s LITERALLY heterosexual males on the app blantly being rude and disrespectful about not being interested in men and only wants Trans/mtf/crossdressers on their profile. Cool you guys added gender filters to “help” us find the people we’re interested in but the way the filter is set up is a one way deadend change. Verified profile option
Allow users optionally to verify their profile and show that on their profile. As tinder and other apps do. That will reduce catfishing and will create safer place for people to engage.

Disable distance displayed if user hides his distance
If users choose to hide their distance then they should nt be allowed to view the distance of others. What goes around comes around. It should be fair for what ever reason a user wants to hide his distance even though Grindr isn't acurate he should loose the option to view others distance.
Trust works both ways.

Make "Online Now" free feature again
I already have to sit thru pop up ads, in app ads as U scroll and ads at the bottom of the page. So how greedy are ya Grindr to make money? Enable use of GPS (phone only) for location
Currently, Grindr stupidly insists you have you location settings on the battery draining "high" accuracy setting, which is GPS plus the Google data gathering machine of Wi-Fi. This needs to be changed to allow GPS only. GPS gives high accuracy anyway so there is no need for anything more which offers no improvement except for Google's finances. Having your location data from an app such as this move outside Grindr's or your phone's realm is a terrible risk, particularly in countries where homosexuality is illegal. Allow to block back
There should be allowance for users who have been blocked by someone the same privilege to block them back. As it is if someone blocks you they completely dissapear. Verifying every user when they first sign up- too many profiles with NO pictures!
For verification purposes. Like tinder and MOST other dating/hookup apps have some sort of photo verification system to prove that it’s actually who you say you are. UNLIMITED BLOCKING
Give all users, premium or not, unlimited blocking. Sometime someone is harassing you and there nothing you can do because you ran out of free blocking. That most of time results in the members deleting his account. I know they can report but until you guys review it one already had to go to a lot of harassment.

You have restricted the number of profiles for non subscribers it’s almost exclusively a subscriber app now most normal people can’t afford

messages not going through
This is happening more and more and it's very frustrating I actually paid to use Grindr but this happens more than usual! Messages not going through 4 hours two fellow Grindr users as if mywifi is down and that's not true because I've actually tested it with other apps and other forms of communication and emails and messages go through fine but on Grindr they don't go through!
