2. Pop up ads

   Stop letting ads come up every few minutes now. And you have to buy Grindr plus if you want it to go away. Bring the old version back when ads wasn't allowed.

4. Gender Filter

   I get that Grindr wants to be inclusive and what not but alright it’s easy to ween out the females but there’s LITERALLY heterosexual males on the app blantly being rude and disrespectful about not being interested in men and only wants Trans/mtf/crossdressers on their profile. Cool you guys added gender filters to “help” us find the people we’re interested in but the way the filter is set up is a one way deadend change. Let’s say I’m a heterosexual male looking for trans females on a “gay” homosexual advertised app and I put my gender identity as Male/Men I’m still only getting gay men on my grid because it should be…

   Gender Identity: it’s own thing Male/ Female/ Trans/ etc etc

   then

   Sexual Preference: Gay Male looking for Gay Male, Straight Male looking for Female, Straight Male looking for trans female, Trans Female looking for Gay Male, Trans Females looking for Gay Men, Trans Female looking for Gay/Straight Males. Bisexual Male looking for Female/Male/trans etc etc you get the picture.

   Give us those options and make it a requirement like Tinder does when creating an account. What you Identify as and then what you’re looking for and all the options and even an option to fill in the blank.

   I’m just tired of clicking every male profile and seeing Trans only, no dudes only female, trans or crossdressers. I block and block to clear the spam (to me) accounts because that’s not what I’m looking for on their and I’m not going to be paying for that either. I’ve been paying for Unlimited just to be able to endlessly block straight men looking for trans.

   This app is full of bots taking up spaces on my timeline then there are the messages from fake profiles promoting porn sites My view is these are from Grindr to push users having to see the adverts for crap apps It really is making Grindr unusable

7. Stop unwanted spam messages from transgender and only fans members

   I would like to have a feature that can stop all messages from people over a specific distance from my current location. This would certainly help to limit the spam from transgender and only fans members that only message me for the purposes of subscribing to their page or advertise their services and content. It has become an extremely undesirable norm on Grindr and for the amount of money we pay each month there should be some sort of way to monitor this and prevent it from happening so frequently and over and over with different profiles of the same person

9. Receiving profiles for men HUNDREDS of MILES away

   Two things. First, allow us to enter a "distance away" number in miles the same as other filters.
   Second, automatically limit the grid entries to no more than 30 miles away unless we ask to see profiles more than 30 miles away (using the above filter).

10. Please reinstate the race filter...!

    Its silly to force certain ethnic groups down our throats..and time consuming as you have to delete profiles one by one to eventually see the guys you prefer. Please reinstate the race filter..you will eliminate a lot of frustration.

11. Give trans people their own tab.

    Sure they are part of our community but I can't even find gay cis men anymore because of the pages of trans people on my grid. I shouldn't lose more than half of my grid space to a gender I'm not attracted to. I'm sure they feel the same way about us. Please seperate them into a different tab so they can have their space and we have ours.

12. Make Screenshots of pictures not allowed

    On other gay dating apps it is impossible to take screenshots of pictures (Scruff for example). While it’s already impossible to do in the albums feature why not make it impossible across the app. If anything it will protect the privacy of users. I’ve been the victim of a few guys catfishing using pictures they’ve stolen from other real guys on Grindr. Why not make it harder for bots and scammers and give the gay community an extra feeling of safety.

13. Remove the Say Something... widget

    The new addition of the Say Something ... widget on a profile leads to a terrible user experience. The app is already barely performant on a non flagship phone. With the addition of this feature once you open a profile it immediately opens the keyboard lagging the application. The keyboard takes up the majority of the screen and you can't view the profile without closing the keyboard. There was already a button for chatting. This feature does nothing but cause the user extra work and gets in the way. Did anyone even try using the app before publishing this feature?

    With every update, more and more features that were once included in Xtra (and even Free accounts) are being taken away and only made available only for unlimited. Why the hell are you guys now charging for the ”View Me” feature when merely days ago Free members could open the last profile that viewed me and Xtra members could open the last 3.
    The same goes for the Fresh grid - it’s absurdly ridiculous that both Free and Xtra members can only open 9 profiles.
    At this rate, you guys might as well do away with Xtra memberships. What’s the point of paying for a damn membership you guys have made obscenely expensive and offers much less every time.
    I am NOT shelling out a single extra penny for as long as this continues happening
