Group/Event meetup
If someone wants to plan a lgbtq event, or plan a group session there should be a way to spread the word amongst the community. Kind of like events in FB or something and you can display the event in your profile or post it in some new message board

Restore favorites feather as it was before the last update
This “favorites” feature should not be reserved for xtra users and was much more useful and appropriate with its own page and without separating those who post their location from those who don't. This reform of the favorites system is unnecessary and very annoying. Moreover, it does absolutely nothing to protect users confidentiality. Please take this in consideration and return the system to the way it was before the update.

Madonna and the pink Icon
I agree with others that the madonna adverts currently fixed into the near top of the grid should be cancelable. Also, after I clicked on it once, the Grinder icon turned a puce pink. It looks absolutely awful in my opinion and I'd rather see it put back to yellow.

Too Expensive
Even the one-week trial price is way too expensive. There are features that are great for protecting one's privacy being locked behind a paywall thats way too steep.

Hide is unnecessary
As a user I do not want to be able to "hide" AND "block" profiles. I either don't want profiles to be accessible and them.having access toy profile (ergo: block them) or I can tolerate their presence. The ability to hide certain profiles (e.g. who did not show interest in me and whom I am not interested in) instead of blocking them is unnecessary, since I am able to unblock them at any given time. The disability to block them and just being able to hide them is redundant and at the moment not even functional.

Android/IOS price difference
I have a question that bothers me a lot... why is grindr for android lower priced than grindr for apple?
If I log into my grindr account IOS its a lot more expensive than when I log in from my android device?
Yes IOS is expensive and you pay for 90% of apps BUT when everyone pays for the same app I would think it would have the same price tag???
And why is grindr so expensive?, if I think of all the adds that drives me crazy, why do we have to pay such high subscription fees?

Ethnicity selection
We should be able to search by ethnicity... I mean, we can BLOCK fue any reason (ethnicity included).

Allow filtering by hiv status to allow poz guys find other poz guys
It would make such a huge difference to poz guys if you could let us find other poz guys. This won’t get many upvotes because it doesn’t affect most users but for those of us who are poz it would be a huge improvement to our lives to be able to find other poz guys, so please please implement this 🙏. Perhaps the filter can only be visible to guys who have their hiv status as poz on their profile if you’re worried about prejudiced people abusing the filter. Say something bubble has to go
Get rid of say something bubble.Blocks the bottom part of a profile, and is repetitive-there's a chat bubble right next to it. It's useless and annoying. Why block the last lines of a profile???

Only fans, spam, filters, glitches
I subscribe to unlimited yet it’s getting harder and harder to find my type. Only fans and spams wanting me to go to sex websites are constantly in my messages and taps! People who I’m not interested in are tapping and messaging me. And the glitches in messaging and “online people” are ridiculous. Dating apps are suppose to filter what you are into yet Grindr wants to show u everyone. That’s not being inclusive at all! Profiles that say not into MEN! Then why are they on my grid! Showing people too far away
I wish that the app doesn’t show people far away within the grid…I keep seeing people that are over 60 miles away next to profiles that are only 1 mile away.

Profile Verification
I think that in order to make a profile, you should have to pass a verification process that confirms identity. As well as it being mandatory to have a face photo, as well as age being mandatory factors on a profile. Especially from a safety perspective.
Anything else is basically catfishing and should not be allowed in this day and age.

Dump the foreign bots
It is increasingly useless to even use the app because each time I login within seconds I get 5+ bots or foreign accounts claiming close proximity.
I understand that it would be incredibly difficult to try and keep them in check but I offer up two simple solutions. Since VPNs make it hard to accurately track a user location I would first see if their ip address location changes drastically from time to time then make them first pass a ‘r u human’ test the next time they want to send a message. So people using random vpns can still…

Ummm do a better job at banning the correct people
How come you can’t block out fake accounts or people who steal photos but ban random accounts and their ip addresses over nothing???? What is the whole point of being on this app if you can’t even use it anymore because they block you
