Bareback is missing again as a filter option
One has to go into their own profile and click on the bareback tag (if they have one there) to get a search with a tag. Can this be fixed permanently, by any chance, please.

Age Limited Visibility
We need to be able to hide our profiles and information from those we do not wish to share it with. If we have an age filter active out profile should only be visible to people within that age bracket and it should also be mandatory to have your age displayed on your profile as there is no good reason to have it hidden if this feature would exist. It's very uncomfortable and irritating to be constantly viewed, tapped, and messaged by people whom you are less than interested in, and blocking them is a chore.

Serch, in every seach it says they are close only to find out there in other counties even other states kind of ruins the meeting metting!
Put the people that are in the area that you search as the ones in that area! Simple...

The profiles aren’t refreshing properly
I can’t get the profiles to refresh when I swipe down. The only way I can update the list is by choosing explore and then choose my current location. Also the favourites list is not refreshing or up to date.

I think to colour the grindr grid from the dull greyish silhouette man (no profile picture), Grindr should at least encourage any picture
Rather than having these scattered grim darkish coloured silhouette profiles, albeit discreet as they might be and for any reason sensitive or not. The grid would look far better with any photo as a profile picture be it you face, body (within guidelines), or perhaps favorite holiday destination, food, gym pose, symbol, tattoo or car. NO darkness - all colour : ))

Pictures unfair moderation
It’s so crazy things going on with pics I’ve tried three times with different pics where there’s nothing sexual showing Corner I might guess you feel weird or upset about lingerie cause that’s the only thing I can think about. I see some pictures that are really hot, even nudes but I cannot post something just sexy may because I’m too skinny and don’t fit on your body types?

The ease of catfishers to create a vast amount of profiles and dominate the memevers shown in order to gayher information and extort people.
You should really consider validating with an IP address or phone number as this phenomenon is how I was kidnapped many years ago, via this very app.

Biggest Scam I’ve ever met
There are many fake profiles who are making the peoples fool by displaying Girl picture in DP. They ask to make the payment in online mode only for meet up.. Once they received the payment they will block your on Grinder and Whatsapp . They shared an screen shot with you of UPID to make the payment. I am the one who’s has been charged for same. Kindly look into the matter. Otherwise I will have to take some strict action against your app.

HSV (Herpes) and more disclosure options on profiles
I would love to have an option to disclose being position for HSV 1 without typing it out in my profile.
That sort of disclosure being “Grindr-sanctioned” would take a huge weight off the shoulders of so many who suffer from the shame and stigma of this virus, even though nearly half of Americans have HSV 1 and one in five have HSV 2.
Grindr has led the way in normalizing disclosure of HIV status and reduced so much of the stigma and shame associated with that virus. Can it please do the same for HSV (Herpes)?

I have been exposed to hepatitis B by a guy I met on Grindr there should be a medical test results proof before being allowed to be on grindr

Report Chat Feature Not Working, Reports Generally Unreliable
I've found a good number of interactions where I need to report someone for something they messaged, however that method of reporting has NEVER worked, and always presents a message along the lines "Unable to Report."
Other types of report produce said message a lot somewhat commonly as well, but more often than not they're fine otherwise, but I don't ser them as effective, as I see some of said users don't get banned OR they just create a new account.

Temporarily hide your profile
If you want to take a break from Grindr, without deleting your account, you can hide your profile. You will not be shown in others feed. Also, your profile and chats will be kept intact when you return on the app.
