For those of us XTRA/Unlimited subscribers who need to take a break from Grindr due to work-related, health-related, or relationship-related reasons, it would be helpful if we could freeze our subscription so we don’t lose the remaining time we’ve paid for. Since we can’t request refunds, at least don’t penalize us when conflicts arise in our personal life that demand us to step away from the app for a bit. You can still keep our money, just give us the option to freeze. This would be especially helpful for those of us on year-long subscriptions.
(To prevent users from freezing for just one or two days at a time to simply extend their membership, you can set a two-week minimum on freezes. And to encourage users to return to the app—or else forfeit the remaining days/months on their subscription—you can place a freeze limit of six months.)
Please implement this socially responsible feature for your paying customers. Thank you
That’s the equivalent of presuming that operations at Grindr should freeze eg during covid, likewise responding to the global pandemic/ with Grindr admin likely presently operating too on skeleton staff, while already customer support service is lame and Grindr members who are out of an income in these uncertain times are now confounded with more and more continual advert-bombing for standard membership
I asked the car registrations gov dept to suspend my vehicle rego payment or extend coverage period during these uncertain times due to covid, they said no. Even though I’m an integral health services professional

In the spirit of solidaritous community, I hope this suggestion is implemented without further compromise impacting quality of service to all members irrespective of those who have income and those who can’t afford paid membership
Grindrs vision should always be about continual improvement of experience for community as it always was from the outset, not latent predatorial greed mongering
Note: Grindr’s quality of product and customer support experience has plummeted since its relatively recent Chinese ownership (unless there’s been change and I missed the latest memo)

Two months ago I subscribed as an XTRA member. Then I started dating a guy and we became a couple. My Grindr profile is unused now, so is my subscription. Please allow users like me to freeze the subscription. It's a reasonable feature. In case I'll no longer enter the app, you already got the subscription payment. And in case I *will* use the account when the relationship is over, I'll be an XTRA member with the amounts of months left.
