Revamp tags
Give people the option to hide their tags from people that don’t also have the same tag. Also, allow each user to pick unlimited tags.
For example, if I pick 15 tags, maybe allow me to say which ones are always shown on my profile, and allow me to specify which tags are only visible to users who also chose that tag.
Finally, give an option to clarify “im into this” tags vs “this describes me” tags. For example, if I pick “hung” am I saying I have a big dick, or that I like big dicks? Along the same…

Profiles without face pics should be limited
It should have an option to forbid profiles without complete face pics from sending any text messages. In this case, these profiles could send Taps and they would be allowed ONLY to send pics and album in the chat. It would be possible to start the text conversation ONLY if the user that received the pics sent some text.

Everyone should be allowed to unsend any and all photos that are exchanged between the two Grindr party's do to safty concerns for each individual. People tend to save or screenshot other people photos with the intent to threaten, stock, harass, post derogatory comments attached to ones photo, and to share negative thoughts and feelings about a person to others in hopes of bringing the grinder community together for support to attack said person. Please it's a safety concern for people and it puts lives are in jeopardy

Unable to change the password.
There is no option within the app to change or update the password. Also, once logged out, the app will not accept the new password or any password.

Lower subscription
Good day, so in South Africa the Rand is very weak and as such the R300 for Xtra is really a lot of money for most people. Don't get me wrong I understand it takes a lot of money to run this platform.
Might I suggest an entry-level subscription of R100 a month, I am sure many people will opt for that option, you can perhaps just have less features than Xtra but perhaps remove ads, a couple more profiles and some advanced filters.

Option to be removed from fresh tab
My profile has been on the fresh grid for 2 days now. There needs to be an option to tale yourself off of it. I hate how every time I change my pic I’m forced onto it

Been punished: all my NOTES 📝 deleted
My biggest pain point is that after not using the app for only 12 days (vacation) I realize today that all the NOTES that I had patiently taken have been wiped out. No clue why! Are we punished because we’re using the freemium? Maybe Grindr should be more explicit about why this happens, when this happens, how to avoid it, and whether or not we can get this data back? Such things are not obvious at all!

Get rid of the bar - age filter
Have you tried your new update for the age filter? Really annoying to use, difficult to put it on the right age you want and min and max get mixed. Before was so much better. Change your UX expert if needed please

Already reached out indicator
once texted somebody, the app should give an indicator that the person has been texted not just in the last 24 hours, but historically so that sometimes when we like somebody very much and they don’t like us back, we know that we shouldn’t text him again because they're clearly not interested but when we don’t know the person has texted or not, we end up replying to their profile pictures, or giving a tap, even though we have already reached out to them before and been ignored, and that makes us look a lot more desperate and makes the…

Why Grindr is asking me to boost my profile? What's the reason to boost my profile? I don't even use Grindr much these months cause tired of it. I don't want many people see my profile cause I am very discreet and don't want to date neither. Also you boost your profile and nobody wants to date. Why you gonna waste your cash on this useless feature.
