Get rid of fake accounts
Quick and easy. Each time you try to message someone, bring up a quick human validation test puzzle. It would be less intrusive than 15 messages from fake accounts everyday

If they spent half as much time working on catching and closing fake profiles, as they do faffing around the fringes of functionality, the app might be worth premium subs, but it’s just horrible.
