When someone gets banned you should show them the content for which they were banned for and not just send a banned msg people report others all the time for dumb stuff

Grindr XTRA locked another feature !!
Hey guys , again one of Grindr features been removed from XTRA without any notice , we’re not able to see old tap unless we go unlimited!! And probably soon we won’t be able to see old messages , I still have 2 weeks for my subscription and I’ll delet my profile after that. Xtra not working!
Xtra claims to offer... I quote:
'If you have Grindr XTRA subscription, you'll be able to view the 3 most recent profiles on your Viewed Me list, but you won't be able to interact with those profiles. (attached)
I paid €86,99 to discover this is simply not true. Grindr gave me 1 month 'Unlimited' subscription for my trouble, but for the following 11 months, I'll have nothing!!36 votes -

Shop showing guys over a locally that is 100 miles away from me
Stop showing guys 100 miles away from me like they are local, because I don't see near as many potential guys for me to pick from that are actually close to me, that takes away how many locals I can meet that I can't get to because of that reasoning

Long ads
There are ads and I understand the functionality of them but some ads can be very long and they get more and more frequent. It's like watching an infomercial. I suggest that Grindr give a choice to view one of these long ads to gain something else in the process. Like expanding your search by (x) amount of profiles, or to give you a temporary profile boost, or even viewing the locked profiles that have recently viewed you. Require Verification for Social Media
Too many fake accounts are catfishing by listing other people’s social media on their accounts, and there is absolutely nothing holding them back.
To list a social media account, you should have to log in through the app to verify that the account is yours.

I know in America the race thing is sensitive. Here in Europe, there is absolutely no issue with saying you are more intro this or that skin color, because it's just a natural attraction. I’ve been using this app for various years now and I think I could say I have a fair understanding of how it works. I’ve noticed there’s not a lot of options when it comes to chubbier guys. Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning. STOP CATFISH. ADD VERIFIED PICTURES
OKCupid and other services already have this feature implemented. With the absolutely rampant abuse of catfish on Grindr, why why why is this not already a feature? It should be a REQUIREMENT of creating a profile. Facial recognition on signup and you can't post any pictures that don't match the verified face. The pictures don't have to show a face but if they do the verified face needs to be on them.

The latest update is nothing shy of annoying
It appears a lot of ppl are not happy with the latest update. I'm one of them.
There are two issues the developers need to address.
1. The auto update is nothing shy of annoying. Is every 30 seconds really necessary? No, it's not. Let thr user update the grid on their own.
2. The who Viewed me. I can see when the list is updated. However. I have to click on the list to actually see who viewed me, then scroll down the grid to find them. The old version would show who viewed you when you scrolled down…35 votes
