Update notes
When there is an update to the app, it would be better if we have notes like what the fix has provided and what has improved so we can check and report back if there is any issues.

Fix the app
The app fails to send messages ALL the time. Almost as if it's so busy pushing ads, that it fails to serve its own purpose. Sort dumb mistakes like that out, and maybe people would upgrade more often. But I'm not upgrading on an app that doesn't even work.
It does it on EVERY message I send. I have to close the app, then retry the message. EVERY time.40 votes -
See who blocked me
When someone sends u a message and blocks u before u can read it. Or see what types of guys are blocking u so u don't waste ur time

Social links
Have you thought about adding social links for Bluesky and Mastodon for those who prefer not to use Musk’s extreme right wing propaganda site

Stop showing profiles from 37 miles away in my feed as if they’re a mile away!!
I’m constantly getting profiles from 37-41 miles away mixed into my local feed. Meanwhile nearby guys are pushed down below the premium features line. Why are you doing this? Been happening for several weeks. I see no way that I can change this, so it seems to be a new nuisance feature to annoy me into purchasing the premium services.

The ‘ban’ system is broken and abused
The ‘ban’ system is broken and abused. I was permanently banned because someone I turned down politely reported me for harassment! They were even rude to me for not wanting them. When I tried to appeal, I was told no information will be given and im banned.

Bombarded by ads
Everytime I exit out of sending/receiving a message I am getting constantly bombarded with ads. And it's never just the one either. It's atleast 2 ads, one right after the other, every single time. I know that ads are to be expected in the free version of this app, but surely they don't need to be as frequent as they currently are?!

Banned
Stop banning people and presuming they're guilty without even having context. How about a three strikes system instead of ruining everyone's night with an appeal. Grindr is owned by a videogame company. Surely it can understand that not everything is the way it looks.

Reduce subscription cost
Reduce the cost significantly like with 90%.
This will make it affordable for many many more, probably resulting in 10-20 times the amount of subscriptions39 votes -

I used to be able to click on the most recent profile that has viewed me, but now it seems no longer available.Thanks.

The pay wall is getting more and more ridiculous
Seriously. Now you have to subscribe to see the first View Me? This is almost like entering a tourist attraction and having to pay for the air above you. Can the Grindr team work on features that are actually worth paying for and stop being greedy corporate idiots.

Blank profiles
Ok so we all know about Catfishing and you guys are letting far too many people get away with it. I honestly feel violated when i see that a “guy” with a blank profile has the nerve to say send pic for pic or looked at my profile possibly collected my pic and that’s it. Like wtf? It feels so uneasy. Bell i don’t care if it’s a fake pic we all know how to sniff out if they’re real or not but no when it’s all blank. All those aren’t that discreet trust me. And then you wanna charge…

Language/country filter
It would be great if there was a filter that allowed you to search for people by the country they are from and the language they speak.
The world is multicultural and residency is fluid. It would be brill to be able to go to another country on holiday and find someone who speaks a common language or indeed in your home country to find a particular country where you might have an affinity.
