block "For you" chats
I do not want Grindr to recommend chats, and I'm certainly not going to pay for the feature. In fact I would block most of the profiles that are listed (first two in list were crossdressers). If Grindr can keep all of its AI profiles in this area and off my grid then it's useful. Otherwise it's waste of space that I don't want to see.

Removal of fake profiles
Why not get your IT people to get rid of the plague of fake profiles currently making me sick. There all beefcake gorgeous, 54 years old and totally unreal.

Long ads
There are ads and I understand the functionality of them but some ads can be very long and they get more and more frequent. It's like watching an infomercial. I suggest that Grindr give a choice to view one of these long ads to gain something else in the process. Like expanding your search by (x) amount of profiles, or to give you a temporary profile boost, or even viewing the locked profiles that have recently viewed you. Should have control about adds, when I open like 3 chats , the app show me add, then, I go out to app and back, the same, opnes 3 chats and the app show me add, and those adds show's when I'm searching persons in home app.35 votes -
Fake profiles
Does anyone ACTUALLY do any work at grindr? I see the exact same fake ass profiles all the time! And I report them so often y'all owe me a few paychecks or something. And if you can't tell who's faking it out there, that just proves my point all the more. Keep these shit stains of society off the app.

You have way too many adds
I load Grindr I have an add, I close a chat, I get and add, close another chat, I get an add… you now have adds randomly popping up. I’m getting so sick of these adds your about to lose a person and I’m sure more will follow because it’s way to annoying to DO ANYTHING on this app anymore.
It’s clear you want everyone to pay to go add free so you will annoy us with them. I’m not stupid. But you’re getting paid for the adds, paid for the subscriptions… seriously people… settle your greedy butts down before…

Require Verification for Social Media
Too many fake accounts are catfishing by listing other people’s social media on their accounts, and there is absolutely nothing holding them back.
To list a social media account, you should have to log in through the app to verify that the account is yours.

I know in America the race thing is sensitive. Here in Europe, there is absolutely no issue with saying you are more intro this or that skin color, because it's just a natural attraction. I am white and I like darker skins because I love difference and exotic people. I would like to be able to select people based on the fact that they are non-white. Chubby/Chaser Community
I’ve been using this app for various years now and I think I could say I have a fair understanding of how it works. I’ve noticed there’s not a lot of options when it comes to chubbier guys. There’s no “chub” or “chaser” tribe. Just things such as “bears” and “otters” is the closest we can get. Let’s be honest, being a bigger person in this app is already hard enough as it is. Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning. The latest update is nothing shy of annoying
It appears a lot of ppl are not happy with the latest update. I'm one of them.
There are two issues the developers need to address.
1. The auto update is nothing shy of annoying. Is every 30 seconds really necessary? No, it's not. Let thr user update the grid on their own.
2. The who Viewed me. I can see when the list is updated. However. I have to click on the list to actually see who viewed me, then scroll down the grid to find them. The old version would show who viewed you when you scrolled down…35 votes -
Expiring photo spam
App should automatically Filter blank profiles that send only an expiring photo. I typically get a few a day. Blank profile messages nothing but an expiring photo and it's always advertising a porn site like NSAsex.net or something like that. Profile usually disappears after a few minutes as well

HPV vaccination status
What about adding HPV vaccination status to the new vaccines section? Also resources and knowledge on the subject will really help the community.
Having recently contracted HPV through somebody on the app I don’t want to spread it and put someone through what I’m experiencing and it’s a turn off to bring up in conversation.

Too expensive
I was wondering if you could, please, put down
the unlimited option price. It is extremely expensive, not everybody drinks vodka with soda as the ad says, also we don’t have the same opportunities depending were we live. Guys who live in big or tourist cities have more variety and chances with the free version than the ones who live in villages or small cities, the same for job opportunities well paid.
