Keep XTRA paywall out of “fresh” tab
The fresh tab was until the last update the only place you could meet some interesting people from a little further away without a paywall. Sadly this is no longer the case. To keep the app enjoyable with some variation for people who live in rural areas (not many guys like us around), I think the fresh tab should’ve stayed the way it was. Maybe this can be solved with some clever ad placement on Grindr’s part.

Create An Apple Watch App For Grindr
Please add an Apple Watch app that users can utilize, or at the very least, do like Google Voice and add the ability to reply to messages through the notification (on the Apple Watch). Thanks!

Update the app again
It’s keeps freezing up and lagging on my iPhone, making the phone also feel really hot to the touch. Doesn’t happen with any other app on my phone or on android, so there’s obviously some more “bugs to fix” 😝😊

Restore Distance Visibility
The whole point of this app was to help us find people closer to us for whatever but unfortunately that hasn't been the case recently. Recent updates on the app have taken the feature that allows you to see how far or near someone is from you on the app. Take for instance, I have had people randomly hit me up and we really hit it off only to realise we were in two different countries far apart. To be able to see how close someone is to you made it fun and easy to use the app. It gave…

Guys asking for money
Make sure that Grindr double check profiles from guys asking for money. To many of them.
Look up for signs like: Only Gen, Gen, no free sex, etc.
Those guys shouldn't be allowed to be on Grindr asking for money.38 votes -

Unlimited less expensive
L'abbonamento Unlimited ora a più di 300 euro all'anno?? È una follia, credo non si abbonerà nessuno, almeno in Europa. Già era una enormità il vecchio prezzo di 171 euro. Dovrebbe costare al massimo 70 euro all'anno

Grindr, "UserVoice" account?
Why do I have to create a Grindr, "UserVoice" account to post feedback? That's xtra. Why can't I just post feedback with my Grindr account or without having to make an account?
(And the button in, "Settings" for the Feedback website on Grindr doesn't even say, "Feedback".)38 votes -

Charging fees and limiting features still. Grindr is about to be a thing of the past. Competitors coming into the game.

Profiles that immediately push their onlyfans.... can the app not just ban anyone who sends a message with that website referenced?

Bots
Seeing as I use the free version of the app, the over use of chat bots, that are either trans, women, or further away than my immediate vicinity, has made the grinder experience pointless. The app was initially designed to meet local gay men and that has become nearly impossible when the limited amount of profiles I'm permitted to interact with are majorally ai bots. To top it off when I attempt to block them to free up space in my grid for real users, they're immediately replaced by more bots

Too many fake/spam accounts
Upgrade your technology to prevent daily spam and fake accounts. Or introduce an authentication procedure. I get spam almost daily from users trying to solicit my personal information.

Reinstate the search messages function
Noticed the search message bar has gone, this has been really useful in the past, I stead of trawling through messages, to find the right one according to "topic". Thanks.

WE NEED ETHNICITY FILTER BACK
We need ethnicity filter back so we don't have to block nationality on the ground the ethnicity filter would be easier than blocking guys I'm not prejudiced I only want to sleep with certain nationalities Im a white guy and I'm only into black guys and white guys and Mexicans I'm not into Chinese or Japanese I don't want to look at every nationality that I'm not into it's not against the law to have a ethnicity filter at all if it was against the law I see why you wouldn't have it but it's not against the law so…

Nsfw pics "ask first" option
So for NSFW pics options. They aren't specific enough. Like, I want to have an option that says "Ask First". Because people think that "not at first" just means "don't send a dick pic first thing". Like. I want explicit consent options.
