I think your messages should be able to have an option to be sorted by distance. Like if I don't wanna drive too far, who have I chatted with lately that's the closest to me.

New profile pic
when someone updated a new profile picture on grindr he automatically showed on the fresh search category , but how come he is not Appears also on the nearby search category? If he is still nearby :) nearby category of search is the must popular and viewed, its a pity that for the first 24 hours you get less viewed because you have a new profile pic.

The new "grunt" sound overrides custom sounds - fix this
Please make all sounds customizable.
I used to be able to customize notification sounds in Android. Now the "grunt" sound won't allow itself to be overridden.
It's creepy for a human-like sound to come out of my phone randomly, and it'd be even creepier to hear it coming out of someone else's phone.
Fix your shit plz. I dislike having to turn off all notifications but it's not a realistic option to keep this sound on.
The divide between grindr not working well and sniffies just working is growing and growing...even reddit is better for hookups at this point.

Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning. Remove auto refresh feature
Ever since the last update every time I click on a profile then go back, the screen automatically refreshes and jumps back to the top of the list. It's infuriating to navigate the app now and makes me want to delete it which would cause me to lose money I've already paid for the ultimate package.

Pre Ban
Hi.
I feel like users should receive a warning before they get permanently banned, something like a pre ban. Most users bypass the rules and everything else. I got banned because I used one of my half nude pictures as my profile picture. I also think the Grindr team should inform the users why they got banned, what the reason was, I had to figure why I got banned by myself.

Too expensive
I was wondering if you could, please, put down
the unlimited option price. It is extremely expensive, not everybody drinks vodka with soda as the ad says, also we don’t have the same opportunities depending were we live. Guys who live in big or tourist cities have more variety and chances with the free version than the ones who live in villages or small cities, the same for job opportunities well paid. Grindr Free Restrictions Are out of control
Ok. The last thing you did was putting a barrier to fresh page and tying it to the Grindr extra. Now free users can only speak to first 6 people close to them on fresh page. Cool. We got it. Everyday I see profile pics of guys literally butt naked on my main page. When I try to update my pic wearing lingerie, it says it is against guidelines. Get this shit together!!

The group chat selection
Group chat selection as is does not show all favorites. It should be sorted by distance just like main page. I always have people who live in different states showing up but my neighbor never does.
Better yet be able to add people to the group chat directly from their profile. Click a button that is "add to group chat" and then you select which open chat you have to add them into (sometimes i have more than one chat).

Restore Unlimited Explore Messaging
I purchased Grindr Xtra mainly for the unlimited Explore messaging feature. Recently, this feature was restricted to only 5 people. This is a key feature I use and expect as part of my subscription. I kindly insist that the unlimited Explore messaging feature be restored.

Right Now Feature Button.
Hello I unfortunately have pressed the “Right Now” feature 3 different occasions unwillingly & I do like the feature but I think it should be removed from the Grindr grid when searching who is nearby. I have an iPhone SE so this screen is very small & I click things by accident a lot

No female only profiles it's a hookup site for game by men if it's a bisexual couple and there's a male and female great but if it's a female only profile they shouldn't be on this app
