   There currently the feature to add notes to Favorite profiles, but sometimes I want to add a note to non-favorites. Either as a reminder of something we talked about, their name, or a warning that I didn’t enjoy talking to them.

2. Ability to disable account and reenable account rather then deleting account

   When taking a break from Grindr all I can do is delete account. Would be great if I could just hide account for a while and just enable when I come back. I had a lot of drama restoring subscription last time I removed my account.

3. Spam is out of control

   I'm getting about five or six spam taps and/or messages every day. The developers need to do a much better job of restricting these profiles. For example: if a new profile send a bunch of taps in a very short time; if a profile jumps location too quickly (i.e. location spoofing); if they have "visit my socials" in their bio, or is just a straight up "go to my website" message, etc.

   There is plenty that grindr COULD be doing to stop this.

4. Not being able to browse very many profiles without paying for it

   You should have a little more freedom to browse more profiles without having to pay for the app, you can only browse a very limited amount of profiles without having to pay for the app

6. Greedy Grindr

   Grindr keeps implementing unwanted functionality and limiting normal functionality, while stuffing the app with ads. You can really see the company is owned by investment agencies who want nothing else but to see as much return on investment, as soon as possible.

   The amount of people one can see is becoming less and less and the filters that can be used keep getting limited. Meanwhile, Grindr is implementing features that literally nobody asked for, such as albums, stupid GIFs and dumb gaymoji I’ve never seen anyone use if not accidentally.

   The prices you are asking for your premium subscriptions, Xtra and Unlimited, are completely excessive (€20 or €40 a month, literally where do you get the nerve). It makes it a product for only the rich, while making it inaccessible for the less wealthy LGBTs among us. Meanwhile, your largest competitor in Europe, ROMEO, is able to make profits with a premium subscription of only €7,50 a month, while offering its free users more features, ad-free, than you do to your Unlimited subscribers, and still donate parts of their profits to a non-profit LGBT-rights supporting foundation.

   Here’s an idea: give free users access to basic filters such as length and relationship status and give them the possibility to see reasonable amounts of people rather than limiting their view distance more and more. Other features, such as albums, gaymoji, GIFs and reading receipts you can make Xtra or Unlimited only.

   Change your policies now, because as long as Grindr keeps being a greedy company that only exists to milk the LGBT community off their money, I will never, I repeat NEVER pay for Grindr, and I will make sure it won’t make profits out of me by using a firewall ad blocker on my phone such as AdGuard, 1Blocker or Lockdown Firewall. Thanks for understanding.

7. Let me swipe backwards from the left side of my screen again instead of tapping the X. Please!

11. Separate app for trans and admirers

    At this point there needs to be a separate app. Even with paid subscription filtering is terrible because many many users don’t fill out gender..

    I like MEN. Nothing against trans but for the love of god I can’t keep having to manually block trans profiles or internalised homophobes’ profiles. Sexual orientation is different to gender and lumping everyone together for money and ‘inclusivity’ and being forced to repetitively see naked female trans, sissies, cross dressers is honestly a really disgusting big uncalled for off-putting con for me as someone into other men exclusively.

    I’m a man into other men. This is grindr cater to us!!! I should be able to choose. I wish grindr will finally get ditched for a good app for gay men, like grindr was several years ago. This is dystopian and really f***d up! Some ppl even call requesting something like a separate app transphobic. How! It’s the opposite of respect and sexual freedom to be forced to exist in the same dating space.     I will not be renewing my membership once it expires. I’ve only had one 3 month membership, and that is long enough to see that it was a waste of money. While I live in an area that is predominantly POC, I’m not. I have many friends of color, but I’m simply not attracted to them in a sexual way. Some POC even agree with me that that they have their own preferences. I would like to be able to filter out the profiles that I’m not going to look at anyway. There is nothing racist about this. I’m just tired of profiles I’m not interested in flooding up my grid. BRING BACK ETHNICITY FILTER!!!

17. Bring back the favorites tab

    Every time I press my favorites now as a filter it doesn’t load the profiles, I have to close and reopen the app and when eventually it shows my favorites, the profile pictures don’t appear. Thus it’s super buggy and very difficult to use
