2. Bring back the race filter..why do you ignore the request?

   You keep on ignoring this request from your members. This creates the impression that you try to dictate or force our choices in a certain direction. We all have preferances and this will never change..so stop annoying your users by trying to controll them.

3. Explain the block

   Using the same system that most players use, the report, explain why the block was applied is not only more clear as well as doubtless for the one that was blocked.
   Ex:
   - block - inconvenient
   - block - bulliyng
   - block - not interesting
   - block - annoying

   In addition, sending a message to the one that was blocked instead of just disapearing, is something that should be in the app

4. Remove bots for paying users

   As a paying user I feel like I should be able to have the luxury of not dealing with bots or ads. I get all kinds of messages from OF creators and WOMEN! I’m a gay man on a gay app I should not be getting women on here! But most of all with how much you charge for the app there should be some kind of way to prevent ads and bots!

5. TRANS PROBLEM

   I have nothing aginst Trans people MTF or FTM but they have there own websites. They shouldn't be allowed to be on a gay mens website to many are signing up make the go to their own website and you can promote their website ads.

6. Mock locations prohibited

   Guys please allow the use of mock locations again. If this means we have to verify through a phone number like with scruff then that's fine. I can't date for almost 3 months now via grindr cause you guys are blocking the use of mock locations. I get the whole safety stuff but this is not the way to deal with that. Please guys 💔

7. Favorite with notes search disappeared

   RESTORE FAVORITE NOTE SEARCHES - which mysteriously disappeared late day March 3, 2023.

   FIX FAVORITES WITH NOTES FILTER - don’t know if this is a new filter or existing, but IT DOES NOT WORK!

   Why removes fav note searches? If one has dozens of favorites and some of the notes are location based, what good are notes if you cannot identify the 20 that are in DC or Atlanta or Naples?

   And to have a filter that is at least supposed to weed out favorite profiles with notes from the rest, but doesn’t work at all is just adding insult to injury.

   C’mon. Don’t you test this stuff before you implement it into production? Or since it so abruptly went away, maybe something in code is broken. Here’s a second notice it isn’t working. Please address it!

8. messages not going through

   This is happening more and more and it's very frustrating I actually paid to use Grindr but this happens more than usual! Messages not going through 4 hours two fellow Grindr users as if mywifi is down and that's not true because I've actually tested it with other apps and other forms of communication and emails and messages go through fine but on Grindr they don't go through! Also your filter app part of Grindr is missing vital Parts like race? And other features that help locate an individual sometimes it's there sometimes it's not I'm really considering not paying for grinder anymore cuz it's not worth it

9. Allow users to block profiles using certain phrases that they find offensive.

   Allow users to block profiles that use words or phrases that they find offensive, such as racist, ageist, transphobic, etc. a user can ID an offensive word or phrase and block and profile that uses them. Profiles are unlocked when the words/phrases are deleted.

11. Enable block option

    Block option was far more better than hide option. People can approach even after hiding their profiles.
    If we have chatted with someone, and we block them, may the chats be visible but enable an option that both the people can't text eachothers.

13. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

    The most annoying PAIN while on/using the Grindr app is the super persistent ads and pop ups or messages promoting the Boost feature that I have NEVER used nor will I EVER choose to use. I’m subscribed as an unlimited member and part of that decision was to ensure I was not plagued by any sort of ads (I understand an OCCASIONAL message but those pop ups AND consistent adverts on the main grid every few grid columns after scrolling down a certain distance?). Please please please.. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

    If not, then at least implement features where we can opt out of that marketing or have an algorithm in place that picks up on the amount of times that a user chooses not to BOOST when advertised to them and then block those adverts to that specific user in all its forms since that user is clearly not interested in that option. Its a win win, the user wins by not being annoyed and Grindr wins because the user is no longer annoyed/frustrated and happier!

14. Restore the original ethnicity filter option back.

    I'm a white male and I live in a area that there's very little to none diversity. Before the ethnicity filter got removed, it made it a lot more easier to find different people of race and color but since it's removal, it's so hard to find them anymore. It would make it so much more better if the filter got restored back to it's former glory and I could meet different people

15. Verifying every user when they first sign up- too many profiles with NO pictures!

    For verification purposes. Like tinder and MOST other dating/hookup apps have some sort of photo verification system to prove that it’s actually who you say you are. I am SO SICK OF ALL THESE USERS ON GRINDR WITH NO PHOTOS! in my opinion, I think it should be a requirement that if you want to be on Grindr then you need to have a clear, visible unaltered face picture of what you look like, so other members can see who all is in the room AND it’s especially annoying when those exact people with no pictures on their profile go and message someone….. leaving the receiver confused, frustrated and wondering what this person looks like…. Honestly, it’s really just frocking COMMON SENSE AND RESPECT. I mean if you’re that afraid to put your face pic on Grindr, then maybe YOU shouldn’t be on the GAY app! Just sayin’! And I know I’m not speaking for just myself either! 17. Showing profiles nearby that are 40+ miles away

    Randomly, peppered throughout my "nearby" feed are profiles that are, in fact, NOT nearby....by any stretch. There are regularly profiles that are 40+ miles away, right next to profiles that are 3 miles away, 10 miles away, some that are less than 1 mile away.

20. Make Grindr Free Again

    We can only talk to 9 ppl on the fresh page & only about 15 on the normal page. Anyone else you have to pay to talk to them. This rolled out within the last week for me we use to able to have a huge range before you did have to pay. This is absurd and an attack on LGBTQ. As lonely as you can be in this community (speaking for closeted,DL,etc) grindr is suppose to be a space to come together and connect with your community, how DARE you try to monetize off that and making ppl feel more lonely due to lack of users to speak to unless we pay u. Yall get PLENTY of money off ads ALONE. Stop being disgusting money hungry pigs and make grindr free again. Like i said theres no reason we can only talk to 20 people and have to pay for anyone else.
