  1. Tap the Grindr symbol at the bottom to scroll back to the top near you

    April 29 2021 you updated Grindr. When this happened you remove the tap to scroll all the way back to the top. Now if I'm at the end of my near me I have to scroll manually back to the top. Please re-enable that feature.

  2. Make "Online Now" free feature again

    I already have to sit thru pop up ads, in app ads as U scroll and ads at the bottom of the page. So how greedy are ya Grindr to make money? Lol of all the free features Grindr took away, "Online now" needs to be free again.   4. Block is no longer available

    The block option is no longer available and was replaced by the hide option. Blocking a user is an essential safety tool in Grindr that can protect us from violence and harassment. Disabling it put in risk the safety and privacy of Grindr users.

  5. Fix Block Feature!

    The Block Feature not working has become a safety issue that Grindr is ignoring. I will never again pay to use this app for this reason! There is simply no excuse for this. Having to block the same people 10x a day is ludicrous and proves that Grindr doesn't really care about user safety or security as this has been an open issue FOREVER!

    You guys need to include a verification for new and already exisiting profile with someone's ID, there is to many underage people and people using fake profiles for either baiting or scams

  8. Multiple accounts created by same person

    I’m being harassed by the same people using different profiles. This has been on going for about two years. Now it’s becoming completely annoying, I can’t trust anyone, and feel as if they may be personally stalking me whether out or my home residence. This has gotten completely out of hand.

  10. Save the Unit System Choice

    When I log back in after logging out, my choice for unit system in settings has been reset. I use metric and it defaults back to imperial. There should be a way of saving this in a user's profile.

  12. Ads! Too many ads! Hundreds of complaints and you've done nothing but make it worse!

    How about just shorter ads. Do you want to go the way of MySpace? Get rid of these long loud ads! Boycotting until this has changed.

  14. Get rid of trans from Grindr. Real men only

    Please Grindr, remove all profiles from the app that are not biological men who are men. Trans, non-binary, "straight men" who look for "trans only"

    Grindr is for men. Real men. Not "cis" men, not "amab men". Just men who are men.

    It's unpleasant to see profiles spamming my grid when they're not real men or they're men into trans. It's got to go. They need their own app for their stuff.

    It's hurting the community of real men who pay to use this service.

  15. Sex Tracker?

    Can you add a feature that lets you track whom you sleep with? Like let you flag it on their profile and compile a list of whom and when for you. This would make it easy to contact them if you catch something, which makes everyone a whole lot safer.

    Grindr is flooded with fake profiles. I see dozens per day. There's a plethora of fake trans profiles that try to lure you to Telegram. Many OF 'creators', but I suspect also fake profiles put there by grindr itself to give the impression there are more people online. Put in more safety guards to prevent bot profiles so I don't get approached repeatedly by fake accounts.   17. Turn Off Grunt as default!

    Keep grunt off as default. There were several times this went off & I thought my phone was hacked. It was alarming. Keep usual tap sound not grunt. This grunt will definitely cause issues with privacy & anyone trying to be discrete. Not ideal for ppl in the closet.

  18. Filter trans women or make a separate app

    Few people genuinely have anything agains trans people. Gay men have a right to only see men on the app SHOULD THEY WANT TO.
    In 2017/18 expanding trans and simultaneously taking away the trans filter in the name of ‘InCluSIon’ is a sick joke and has been very counter productive. Instead plenty of people and more resent trans women if anything imo.

    Gay men’s preferences have nothing to do with Trans Women. There are too many now. The right thing to do for all parties is to make a separate app for them.

  20. Enable use of GPS (phone only) for location

    Currently, Grindr stupidly insists you have you location settings on the battery draining "high" accuracy setting, which is GPS plus the Google data gathering machine of Wi-Fi. This needs to be changed to allow GPS only. GPS gives high accuracy anyway so there is no need for anything more which offers no improvement except for Google's finances. Having your location data from an app such as this move outside Grindr's or your phone's realm is a terrible risk, particularly in countries where homosexuality is illegal.
