1. Disable distance displayed if user hides his distance

   If users choose to hide their distance then they should nt be allowed to view the distance of others. What goes around comes around. It should be fair for what ever reason a user wants to hide his distance even though Grindr isn't acurate he should loose the option to view others distance.
   Trust works both ways.
   Allowing users to hide their distance but view others means they can see without showing their. This is Not equal.

   WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD REMOVE THAT FEATURE??! Grindr is based on Chatting. How do you expect us to find our old/important messages.

   I use the search bar to look for keywords like 'Whatsapp' so I could find the guys who gave me their Whatsapp numbers lol. Ugh. I AM SO PISSED.

   Allow us to click & see the profile of someone in recently viewed. i get not being able to see the profile over a certain number, that was never a problem, but suddenly now we can't see the profile of someone who looked at us "right now." i get that you want people to pay for things, but this is just a ridiculous change. i pay for the first tier, and am considering canceling as i will not upgrade just to be able to see who viewed me!

   Allow users optionally to verify their profile and show that on their profile. As tinder and other apps do. That will reduce catfishing and will create safer place for people to engage.

   The free app has to be G rated, but when you pay a monthly fee it should be M rated w/nude profile pics. BC in reality this is a GAY HOOKUP SEX SITE! Everyone usually shares the same X pics anyway

    Too many fake accounts are allowed to send messages from hundreds of miles away.

    Allow a setting for no messages from X number of miles, or automatically flag accounts that send out 30 messages in 30 minutes, or flag accounts that get three blocks on the day they are created.

    Yall need to stop trying to charge for EVERYTHING. It's ridiculous that you guys try to make a profit out of EVERYTHING. It's frustrating that you limit the number of albums we can view that people literally send to us. It's annoying now that even the "fresh" page is limited to only 9 profiles and every other profile needs a payment to view. You guys used to limit the block feature too and try to charge us for it. RIDICULOUS. And maybe more people would be keen to join your membership of it didn't cost so much?? Charge way less, and maybe you'll make more profit by having more people join. 12. MAJOR SECURITY RISK

    Grindr Is a major security risk to the safeness of users and people within the community. Ever since I started using the app men have been using my images as their profile pictures to both sell drugs and suggest sexual activity. Sometimes catfishing young men and luring them to locations. I believe the only way the company can come together to solve this issue is to REQUIRE a MANDATORY security process for anyone using face picture images. I believe if you want to upload face pics to the app you must confirm your identity with a legal ID card. Men have been using my images as a means of extortion and I think this will result in many legal issues for the app which has not listened to the the reports made by me and countless other men abused by the perpetrators. This needs to be looked into as soon as possible. I’m worried for both my safety and the victims of this catfishing.

    As a gay user, I love that Grindr promotes a safe space for all… However, the amount of straight men on this app looking for “not men” is fckng ridiculous at this point. Please find a way for us to filter them, they really should be on they’re own app as they’re not gay but if you want to welcome them to our safe space please create a filter.

    Whoever runs this app continues to remove filters. So add one where we can multi select profiles and block a bunch at the same time. I block 15 to 20 profiles a day because I’m not interested in women.

    I get it…free usage means ads. But that Evony ad echoes across the hills! I can’t always keep my sound off, and then my location is revealed to cock hounds in close range when I’m subtly checking my messages to confirm a railing appointment. The grunting men sound effects aren’t exactly subtle, either. Apply your commitment to discretion to your ads, and problem will be solved! …almost. Get rid of ads. But then capitalism fails, and then they start rounding up the gays.

18. Allow to block back

    There should be allowance for users who have been blocked by someone the same privilege to block them back. As it is if someone blocks you they completely dissapear. It happens occasionally that I tee up a meeting, After agreeing on a time and place I then take about 1.5 hours getting dressed up and ready, the meeting time has come and gone, I log back in to find the user has blocked me, and I'm unable to block him back, which leaves the person who got blocked vunerable to this kind of behaviour from the same person again and again. Which may be what has happened a few times. Can we fix this, so we have a way of stopping this bad behaviour.

    I'm sick and tired of having to fight with my phone to get out of ads on this piece of crap app. Esp that stupid booking ad. Its ridiculous. You pick or exit a profile or chat and theres at least 4 or 5 pop ups from ads you have to x and are still taken to the app store. Grindr you are a shell of your former glory.

    I have notice recently an incredible amount of accounts of “straight men” and “dl men” seeking trans people as well as a lot of trans people in the app. If I have a free account I have a limited amount of choices already, and if from those choices almost 50% (if not more) are of people that have no interest in me or me in them at all, that leaves me with very little to choose from. Why not create a choice for people to view only trans people or advertise only to trans, straight, dl, etc? Grindr is a gay dating app, it should be kept that way if possible, but without excluding others completely. It’s just really upsetting to have to deal with (particularly) all these men who are trolling the app and being rude to gay men, because they are only interested I. Trans women. Anyway, just a thought.
