Showing profiles nearby that are 40+ miles away
Randomly, peppered throughout my "nearby" feed are profiles that are, in fact, NOT nearby....by any stretch. There are regularly profiles that are 40+ miles away, right next to profiles that are 3 miles away, 10 miles away, some that are less than 1 mile away.

It’s frustrating when a “nearby” feed doesn’t actually feel nearby. Seeing profiles that are 40+ miles away mixed in with ones just a few miles—or even blocks—away makes the feature feel unreliable. It kind of defeats the purpose of filtering by distance when the results seem randomly scattered instead of accurately prioritized. A clearer separation or stricter distance setting would make the experience a lot more useful. https://flixtor-to.com/

It’s honestly confusing how “nearby” is being defined here. One minute I’m seeing profiles less than a mile away, and the next I’m getting people who are 40+ miles out mixed into the same feed. It makes the whole feature feel unreliable, because I can’t tell who’s actually close and who isn’t. https://cineby-to.com/

You do realize that people have to message someone and get their hopes up that someone wants to talk to them when really it’s just that they are 40+ miles away and we are trying to get them off of our feed and as soon as they respond, we block them, crushing their hopes and probably causing them to fill down about themselves and possibly hurt themselves. So stop forcing us to see these people before somebody gets hurt.
