I had a friend recently commit suicide, and yes it was because of the rudeness of the gay community on Grindr. People consistently insulting his age etc. I read some of these profiles that say no one old or fat etc. I think there are better ways to say these things without being insulting. Instead of saying old why can’t they put the age range they are looking for and instead of fat can’t they put height weight proportionate. Grindr does nothing when I report these profiles as discrimination although it is if it’s said in a derogatory nasty way. The gay community needs to respect each other, especially in this political climate. I’m going to keep reporting these profiles every single time I see one. Maybe if you suspended them maybe they would eventually get the hint.

I've yet to see anything done about underage or obvious spam accounts. I get Grindr is cheap and wants to employ the minimum needed to run the app, but it's not working out for them. Do some kind of in-depth process to get some volunteer moderators out there that can help sort and push through reports to paid employees.
