Sexual orientation options/filters
I have notice recently an incredible amount of accounts of “straight men” and “dl men” seeking trans people as well as a lot of trans people in the app. If I have a free account I have a limited amount of choices already, and if from those choices almost 50% (if not more) are of people that have no interest in me or me in them at all, that leaves me with very little to choose from. Locked Photos Folder
Add an option for a folder with private photos that we can share with other profiles we choose with the ability to also unshare. It gets tiring sending multiple photos to every other person you talk to.

Needs ethnicity filter as originally designed
As of December 1 I stopped paying for Grindr. I noticed all these ads popping up and the app is decidedly worse without paying for it. However, I wont give them another cent and ignoring things that we want and things that help us as the app was originally designed to do. Believe it or not it was better when it first came out. I don’t see any improvements worth paying for especially removing the ethnicity filter, which is my single most important reason for deleting my subscription.

Make "Online Now" free feature again
I already have to sit thru pop up ads, in app ads as U scroll and ads at the bottom of the page. So how greedy are ya Grindr to make money? Dump the foreign bots
It is increasingly useless to even use the app because each time I login within seconds I get 5+ bots or foreign accounts claiming close proximity.
I understand that it would be incredibly difficult to try and keep them in check but I offer up two simple solutions. Since VPNs make it hard to accurately track a user location I would first see if their ip address location changes drastically from time to time then make them first pass a ‘r u human’ test the next time they want to send a message. Block is no longer available
The block option is no longer available and was replaced by the hide option. Blocking a user is an essential safety tool in Grindr that can protect us from violence and harassment. Disabling it put in risk the safety and privacy of Grindr users.

Fake profiles
Grindr is flooded with fake profiles. I see dozens per day. There's a plethora of fake trans profiles that try to lure you to Telegram. Many OF 'creators', but I suspect also fake profiles put there by grindr itself to give the impression there are more people online. Put in more safety guards to prevent bot profiles so I don't get approached repeatedly by fake accounts. Filter trans women or make a separate app
Few people genuinely have anything agains trans people. Gay men have a right to only see men on the app SHOULD THEY WANT TO.
In 2017/18 expanding trans and simultaneously taking away the trans filter in the name of ‘InCluSIon’ is a sick joke and has been very counter productive. Instead plenty of people and more resent trans women if anything imo.Gay men’s preferences have nothing to do with Trans Women. There are too many now. The right thing to do for all parties is to make a separate app for them.

Fix Block Feature!
The Block Feature not working has become a safety issue that Grindr is ignoring. I will never again pay to use this app for this reason! There is simply no excuse for this. Having to block the same people 10x a day is ludicrous and proves that Grindr doesn't really care about user safety or security as this has been an open issue FOREVER!

Verification
You guys need to include a verification for new and already exisiting profile with someone's ID, there is to many underage people and people using fake profiles for either baiting or scams

Read Receipts 4 ALL
Grindr needs a revival... 2.0 Days werent nearly as BS as it is these days...

Tap the Grindr symbol at the bottom to scroll back to the top near you
April 29 2021 you updated Grindr. When this happened you remove the tap to scroll all the way back to the top. Now if I'm at the end of my near me I have to scroll manually back to the top. Please re-enable that feature.

Only fans, spam, filters, glitches
I subscribe to unlimited yet it’s getting harder and harder to find my type. Only fans and spams wanting me to go to sex websites are constantly in my messages and taps! People who I’m not interested in are tapping and messaging me. And the glitches in messaging and “online people” are ridiculous. Dating apps are suppose to filter what you are into yet Grindr wants to show u everyone. That’s not being inclusive at all! Profiles that say not into MEN! Then why are they on my grid! Showing profiles nearby that are 40+ miles away
Randomly, peppered throughout my "nearby" feed are profiles that are, in fact, NOT nearby....by any stretch. There are regularly profiles that are 40+ miles away, right next to profiles that are 3 miles away, 10 miles away, some that are less than 1 mile away.

Fake profiles
Get your IT department to get rid of all the fake profiles currently plaguing Grindr. I have just blocked about 7 located nearby. It doesn't matter how many times I block these fake profiles they keep reappearing. Please do something about this.

Get rid of trans from Grindr. Real men only
Please Grindr, remove all profiles from the app that are not biological men who are men. Trans, non-binary, "straight men" who look for "trans only"
Grindr is for men. Real men. Not "cis" men, not "amab men". Just men who are men.
It's unpleasant to see profiles spamming my grid when they're not real men or they're men into trans. It's got to go. They need their own app for their stuff.
It's hurting the community of real men who pay to use this service.
