Too many Fake Bot Accounts
Using Grindr has become increasingly frustrating. Despite paying for an Unlimited membership at $40/month, the overwhelming number of fake bot profiles has made the app nearly unusable. At this point, it feels like 90% of the interactions I receive are from bots rather than real people.
Considering the premium cost, this makes the service feel extremely poor in value. It’s disheartening to pay for features that are overshadowed by fake accounts and spam interactions. What should be an enjoyable and social experience has instead become exhausting and disappointing.
I hope Grindr takes stronger action to reduce the prevalence of fake/bot accounts. Otherwise, it’s hard to justify maintaining a paid subscription under these conditions.

My biggest pain point is dealing with unreliable streaming sources, outdated APK versions, and confusing installation guides. I prefer a platform that keeps everything organized and up to date.
https://yacinetvapkarabic.app/ is a helpful resource dedicated to **Yacine TV**, where you can find the latest APK updates, installation guides, feature overviews, troubleshooting tips, and streaming-related news—all in one place. It makes it much easier to stay updated and get the app running without unnecessary hassle. -

Reported over 5000 scambots, prostitutes, solicitors and drug promoting profiles with pics and price lists. Nothing done. Same scambots across diff states using the same profiles. NOTHING DONE.

Grindr has done nothing to stop the scambots, prostitutes, solicitation promoting of drugs. A class action suit and refund of all payments is the best way to go. Recognition software would end this issue but again Grindr has done nothing to stop the same scambots from reappearing on the site. Its so frustrating I have started to confront them myself. They all say they charge and its openly accepted on the site. Many have the "u owe me respect attitude with hate speech and high expectations of $ and demanding 🎁 gifts. Its really degrading to see them with their tongues out flipping the middle finger. Really low end disrespectful to members.

Fake bot accounts are a major issue on social platforms — they undermine trust and frustrate paying users. For more app and community discussions, check out https://slotsdj.eu/ . What verification measures do you think would help reduce bots?

Not only Grindr needs to increase monitoring strength from the system level, but also adds Lookout post in each individual region to manually operate the basic functionality. Such as filtering out AI image, detecting same IP logins to multiple accounts at multiple time spots, region manager manually clean duplicate accounts and ghost accounts. Be sure their authority is less powerful than Admin, but much more than regular users.

The biggest pain point on most apps right now is a combination of slow loading speeds, frequent crashes, and an overly complicated navigation experience that makes it frustratingly difficult for users to quickly find and access the features they need without unnecessary steps or confusing menu structures. Addressing these core performance and usability issues through regular updates, simplified interface design, and more responsive customer support would go a long way toward significantly improving overall user satisfaction and long-term app retention. https://minecrftpatchdownload.com/

The growing number of fake bot accounts has become a major challenge across social media platforms, online forums, gaming communities, and messaging applications https://yacinetvhub.com/. These automated or impersonated accounts are often created to spread spam, promote scams, manipulate public opinion, inflate follower counts, or distribute misleading information.

I travel back and forth between Phoenix and SLC, and the number of bots I see in Utah is outlandish—I often open the app and can immediately tell that almost half (sometimes more) of the dozen profiles on my main grid are fake.
Sadly, almost all of them are a fake accounts who claim they’re trans; this seems to be the case in Phoenix, as well.
I have block/report so many of them, it’s ridiculous. Plus, I feel bad because I’m sure I’ve reported real accounts on accident, simply because there are so many fake ones.

I agree. There is zero point in subscribing for a membership with the number of bots.
Grindr "implemented AI" which has not helped the app but made it worse.
I'm canceling my membership and most likely uninstalling.

Fake bot accounts have become a serious issue on many social platforms, especially for paying users expecting genuine interactions and better moderation. Stronger verification systems, smarter spam detection, and identity validation could greatly improve user trust and overall experience. Similar online verification workflows used in tools like https://cfcalcolo.com can help reduce fake activity and improve platform reliability.

Dude Grindr is either complicit in all these fake spammers and bots being on the app, either by allowing them to be on the app and doing nothing to remove them or by pulling another “Ashley Madison” and actually putting the bots in the app themselves or they are incompetent when it comes to removing and preventing spammers and bots from being on the app! I myself think they are complicit. Either way there needs to be a class action law suit or something because with how much this app cost we should not be dealing with the amounts of spammers and bots that are on it!

I totally agree. I just paid $190 dollars for a 6 month unlimited plan and i get fake SOOOO many fake bot ads messaging me or clicking the flame icon. In larger cities it's sooo hard to tell the fake ones until you reply and only to get a sign up to my OF account ad. I regret paying this much for sooooo many fake ads.
