Hi. Grindr should require a verifiable face pic that they would solely have control over, in a guy's profile. That would then be the guy's official "verified profile face pic" (vpfp, for short) and that pic would be the one shown in the grid that he appears on (in?). Should he wish to modify, swap out or delete his current vpfp, he would have to let Grindr know, and then together, they could create a new official vpfp (and would follow the same vpfp procedures to create it). Furthermore, by Grindr having total control over a guy's vpfp, including the creation date of that pic, they could then put a policy in place in which a vpfp is only valid for a predetermined period of time (say 1 year, 18 months, etc.). This would help to make the site more legitimate, appealing, and trustworthy. Maybe you could set a limit on how often a guy could create a new vpfp if he had a free subscription, and maybe allow paying subscribers to have unlimited vpfp changes. As long as in every scenario, Grindr has complete control in verifying the authenticity of the guy and his vpfp, and policing when a new, updated vpfp is required, I think it would work out well for both Grindr and it's subscribers. Grindr would possibly have a new way to generate revenue, and also help reduce catfishing.and fraudulent occurrences encountered by it's subscribers. Also, the subscribers would have access to a larger number of (legitimate) guys in their limited grid and have zero faceless profiles to deal with in that grid! Btw, all other pics that a guy posted as part of his general (public) profile pics, would be under the same rules as what is/was current at that time for public profile pics. Well I hope you like my idea and thanx for your time! Bye!
