Drug monitoring
The app is full of drug addicts, sellers and people that put at risk others with their substances.
I see so many people here in Mexico selling cristal or slam and a lot of users of it, using emojis to hide their substance usage.
I believes both a feature that monitors this emojis they use to talk about said substances is much needed, even it making a report to the police.
For other substances such as Alcohol, tabaco, marihuana and poppers there should be a block for people that do not want to match with others that do.

Yep Grindr is an app for people searching for sex, if you don't like it either stop using it or filter out the users with "Right Now".

I also want to know why Grindr doesn’t supply more information about drug testing kits, harm reduction clinics and centers, and other drug and substance use education that isn’t so closed off as Grindr has taken to this issue?
You should be a marketplace for drug testing kits, frankly. It would save lives if I could purchase a drug testing kit from grindr directly.
I’m talking about game changing policies for Grindr. You would be community heroes for saving the lives of countless youth.
C’mon. Stop being Americans for a minute, and think like the rest of the civilized world.
If you want to profit from this community, SAVE this community.
That is m my challenge to Grindr.
That is my challenge.
Take it up.

Whether we make it easy or hard for people to use chems, if they are determined to do it they will find those who play on chems. By adding the tags, it creates an environment and a sense of belonging and not alienation which is often what drives people to the extreme. It will also limit the exposure to those innocent men who wouldn't normally consider using drugs. With the hnh and PnP tags, Those who are high will look / look out for one another and there will be higher visibility on the issue. Its the stigma that kills. Pretending guys who PnP don't exist won't solve the problem. Adding the tags will also provide better insight so those are risk can be given better advice.

You guys don't let stoners post looking for weed yet every other dude on here is looking to "parTy" ban these profiles this should be a gay dating app not a drug cartel. These guys just show up with a backpack tweaking trying to rob yah.

People are able to openly talk about, advertise, and sell marijuana on Grindr but any other drug is frowned upon and will have your account suspended. Either allow all or ban all but don't pick and choose which ones you think should be allowed.

The Grindr stopped in time without releasing relevant new, the app is a whorehouse where people seek sex, drugs and the like, not to mention the numerous profiles without photos, you need to be more creative.

There are countless open meth users on this app and no visible help for said users. Grindr needs to do more to help with the drug epidemic it helps thrive. Banning their profiles does nothing. They come back on almost immediately with new profiles. Offer some information or maybe a phone number to call.

In some countries grindr has become a place for drug dealers. I suggest to give some rewards or option for people who reports true cases of drug trafficking so they stay out of the app. Maybe some of the xtra features or some kind of reward to promote reporting.

I think as you have banned the use of words like ‘cum’ you should ban the term HNH in all its forms. I’m so disheartened and worried about the guys around me who are using drugs and having sex. I’m particular meth use, it’s a situation which has been exacerbated by the pandemic. Even one slide offer help and support for meth use could make a difference ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

There should be a greater verification of profiles, at present, you can not meet people in the application, at least here in Chile, it is full of drug sellers and although we reports and blocks, more continue to arrive. Please do something about it.

I'm 11 years sober and drug free. In looking to protect my sobriety, I seek to avoid meeting guys on Grindr who use drugs, nor do I want to be around them.
My profile used to say "drug free" but Grindr has since blocked the word "drug" from profile text.
AS IF anyone is saying "let's get together and use drugs!" in their profile!!!
Grindr:
Immediately remove the word "drug" from your filters
ADDITIONALLY: Create some way that we can clearly indicate "drug free" in our profiles that is UNMISSABLE and unmistakable.
Let's not pretend you really care all that much about censoring drug use. As it is people will use capiTal leTTers and various emojis to indicate drug use, and this is just fine with Grindr.
