Lets make grindr gay again
Lets make Grindr gay again, lets start by getting rid of biological women and m/f couples. We as gay men have very few apps to meet each other while biological women and m/f couples have thousands for example tinder, bumble and hinge. First it was our bars and now the very few apps we have to meet each, WHY?!?!?! why must we share everything with biological women just for the sake on inclusivity. Why can't we has gay men have our own spaces? Lets Make Grindr Gay Again!!!!

@Howie you do realize that the "G" in LGBTQ+ stands for Gay, so technically you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
In fact every minority sexuality is included because of the "+" which is why the "I" & "A" letters that some people have started adding to it, don't need to be added at all because of the plus sign, but that's a whole different conversation.
I do believe I understand what your meaning thought, which is that this app is for gay bi and curious men, not females, or couples, as in it's not for the entire LGBTQ+ community, just the G, B, & Q men.

Thank you for posting this! I totally agree. I have zero interest in hooking up with trans people. I have nothing against them. I'm just not sexually attracted to them. I have no interest in sex with women or m/f couples. I don't consider myself to be LGBTQ+. I'm just gay. Period.

I'm all for an inclusive app, but please let me filter out people with vaginas. I'm not sexually attracted to them and no amount of hostility will change that. My exclusive attraction to men is not phobic, it's my sexual orientation.
I also don't want to click on men who are straight and looking for trans women. -

@purple pleasure, you as a cis woman have every fucking dating app on this planet, we as gay men do not, now fuck off our app and leave us alone

Can’t find M4M BECAUSE OF ALL THE WOMEN/trans/cds on here. Return it to its original purpose.

The only people who decide what Grindr is "for" or how it "should be" are the people who program(med), own, and run it.
If you don't like it, go develop your own app, or use one of the apps that fall in line with your vision.
Just as trans woman started Pride, we are a big part of what grew Grindr to what it is today in terms of success and popularity. You think you gay men would have nearly as much traffic, especially from the "discreet" and "straight" crowds (whom we all know you love) if it weren't for us? Please.
I'm sorry you can't get your precious men-exclusive space like you want, but I can't even get cis men to stop using the "trans" tribe tag so good fucking luck buddy.
Quit your whinging or go elsewhere. Exclusionists have no place on Grindr. -

As a biological bisexual female with a bisexual male, this feels biphobic.
When I created my profile to find guys to fuck my bf while I watch/play, I got close to a hundred of messages within hours and still continue to get a lot.
Y'all don't realize how many bisexual men there are! They are the real repressed group in the LGBTQIA+, shunned by gay men and shunned by straight women!
Any M/F profiles I've seen have been all to find men to fuck the man. We can't find that on Tinder/Bumble etc! In fact we get banned off them for that.
Yes there should be a filter for bio female, MTF, FTM, and even Gold Star ⭐ gay!

@ruecook, fuck off with your leftist ideology. Sexuality is not a spectrum. Facts over feelings
-
Rue Cook commented
Sexuality is a spectrum. The meaning of gay is different from one person to the next and this is a gay dating/hookup app. Anybody who feel they are gay and want to use the app should be welcome to do so regardless of what's in their pants

Yes please!
1. It was already very difficult to find a match before the removal of the ethnic filter. Then they removed is so my grid is full of people I don't want to meet so I need to constantly go through "combing sessions" to block them all.
2. Then the grid has been overflowing with trans women and their lovers. I know Grindr doesn't care because they ride the hard left manifesto of "gender is just a construct" but I am a male and I'm only looking for romance or hook ups with biological males who are still males no matter what are the activists opinions are. Get over it.
3. OT but this is material for another thread: Grindr is selling the cunning Boost option so I can see even less nearby people. What's the point using Grindr then?!

Although I was supporting this cause, I have quit after reading the comments due to the inmature nature of the author insulting others.
I support no bullies, no matter how much I might agree with the goals.

@Nicolas Nash
First of all if women are looking for man of any sexuality this is not the app for them... Gay man have so little safe spaces, it's enough with share them with cis woman, Grindr was created for men looking for other mens, anything else is bullshit. -
Nathan commented
You're @Nicholas Nash I am going to tell you fuck off, PS I'm very capable of handling myself.

@Nathan
I read every comment in this thread and actually @Hayleyrae isn't wrong. Which is obviously my opinion. And you'll probably tell me to go f*** myself as well which clearly shows your lack of maturity. But if you really have a problem with a couple women on here that might have been interested in gay men or a bisexual husband or something like that then maybe you shouldn't be on any kind app like this in the first place. And also for the record, telling somebody on a public forum to go f*** themselves is the epitome of internet tough guy which 99% of the people that think they're tough on the internet would get their ass whooped in real life! And I'm obviously in no way shape or form making that any kind of threat because I have no clue where you are at and I could care less but you'll probably take it as a threat and make some long and exuberant post about how you are some legit tough guy or something so when you read this just do me one favor and keep it to yourself because no one wants to hear you talk anymore. -
Nathan commented
@ Hayley Rae, go fuck yourself, it's not discrimination to want a single sex space where you can meet other people like yourself
-
Hayley Rae commented
This "request" is absolutely ridiculous! I am a bisexual crossdresser. I've been on Grindr for quite some time now and when I really want to hook up, the fact that there is a woman in my feed, has hindered the ability for any hookup in any way, shape or form. I've spent time in several large metropoiltan cities such as San Antonio, Austin, Seattle, Oklahoma City and Denver. I'd say that the percentage of profiles that claim to be women is less than 5%. If you can't find what you're looking for or are bothered by coming across one of these profiles then Grindr is definitely NOT the issue and either are the profiles of this very small ammount of women on this app. Creating a seperate app for us in the "trans" community is also idiotic and would be a waste of a long time body of work by Grindr and the people that keep it running.
To the person that created this post and the people that agree with it. What you are describing is discrimination in a way that you think is plausable and acceptable. When, in reality, NO form of discrimination on any level is acceptable.

I am getting frustrated with this! Grindr is supposed for men looking for MEN!!!! Just create a seperate app for those who are FTM and for those 'straight' men who are looking to hook to up with them!

Nathan commented
You and your gf don't belong on Grindr go to tinder or biaus @Dave M

Dave M commented
Some couples want to meet gay guys. My GF frequently in the early hours wants to find a guy to fuck me, and there are lots of gay, and esp bi guys in the Grindr pool.
No discrimination please - as long as everyone knows the primary purpose (men meeting men)
