People you hide come back at some point and are not permanently hidden
The hide feature is only good if you can hide them permanently. It does not good if someone says specifically what they want and you are not it and they just come right back. You should be able to block people that will never be interested in you.

Add a built-in safety education section for new users
I've been thinking about how many people on Grindr - especially younger users - don't really know the basics of staying safe when meeting someone from an app. Right now there's barely any guidance inside the app itself. It would be great to have a short, interactive onboarding module that covers things like sharing your location with a friend, recognizing scam profiles, and consent basics. I saw how one education software development solution approached building in-app learning flows for a health platform and it honestly felt like something Grindr could adapt. View/Edit Notes from Chat
Notes on profiles are very useful, thank you for that. The only thing that prevents a real good usage of Notes is the requirement to go back on the user’s profile to edit Notes, which generates a « Profile View » on his side.
Could you please add the ability to view/edit Notes directly from the Chat screen? That way, we can use Notes without alerting the other user that we were on his profile, and prevents generating pollution (i.e.: generating a Profile view each time we edit the note).

Too many commercial accounts
Create a new type of profile for commercial and filter options to filter them out. Make strict rule and enforce it so all commercial users use that type of profile itself

AC died on the hottest day of the year – emergency help in Toronto?
Guys, I am officially in a crisis. It is 7 PM on a Friday, my house is currently 29 degrees, and my central air conditioner just made a loud "pop" sound and died. I have two young kids and a very grumpy cat, and the thought of trying to get through a Toronto humid night without cooling is terrifying. I’ve already checked the breaker, but every time I flip it back, it just trips again immediately.

Undoing changes to the interests tab
The redesign for the new interests tab honestly doesnt look good. Lots of previous information is no longer shown such as distance and display name are no longer shown and sharing the screen space with the tabs just makes it look cluttered. It feels like change just for change when the old design was already perfect. As a programmer, I have to say, the new design and a lot of other recent changes look like they were coded with AI.
