   Currently, many users (including myself) would like to connect with people who speak the same language, especially in multilingual countries like the U.S. However, when some users requested ethnicity-based filters, the app considered it discriminatory — which is understandable.

   That’s why I believe adding a language-based isolation or filter option would be a fair and inclusive solution. This feature would simply allow users to find others who communicate in the same language, without involving race or nationality.

   For example, I live in the U.S. but speak Arabic, and I’d love to meet other Arabic speakers nearby. I think this update would make the app more welcoming and relevant for diverse communities.

6. Review Grindr Banning Algorithm?

   Over a month ago I was trying to create an account and accidentally selected the wrong year which led to Grindr banning me in terms of underage account creation I assume. And now, it seems that I cannot even make another account because it is like they banned my device absolutely.

   I submitted the ban appeal over a month ago and apparently moderators take "1-2" business days to review it. I even mentioned my willingness to verify my actual age. But banning my whole device just because I selected the wrong year accidentally (the iPhone user interfce is not the best when using the scroll option)? That's unfair. I believe it's the algortihm or something that's detecting I'm trying to make multiple accounts after the previous account was rejected because I accidentally selected the wrong age.

   I do NOT want to do a factory reset, buy a new phone and get a new number. That's ridiculous.

   Please reconsider the way you ban users!

8. It doesn't deliver the contacts it used to without wading through a bunch of slop (ads and profiles).

   I realize that development is expected and ads bring money, but I would suggest that the app take a look back to early times, when it was simple. Now that the users have transformed and adjusted to Grindr norms and learned their tricks and fakes around things, go back to your roots and say "what made us great?". The companies that become over-developed, chase trends or sell out to too many income streams become irrelevant faster. The basics and keeping it somewhat raw can extend a brand's longevity beyond the competition. I was a paying member from nearly day one, until the big booty profiles slammed the app this year. Now, as non-paying, it is such a pain in my ass to play whack-a-mole w the ads just to get through to limited profiles near me (who I'm tired of) and then be asked to pay for more options. No thanks, a cup of coffee and beating off sounds a whole lot better. Logoff!

10. Consolidate HIV status

    The HIV status has the various expected options in a spin wheel where you can only select one option. The health practices component allows you to select multiple options from condoms, DoxyPEP, negative on PrEP, HIV undetectable, and prefer to discuss as options. I think that HIV undetectable is a duplicate from the Status component, and easy to select in error because of how the component is Ux’d. Led me to have conflicting information: Negative, on PrEP, I’m on PrEP, I’m on DoxyPep, and I’m HIV undetectable.

11. Make it possible to be unseen/hidden from new accounts. Checkbox in profile.

    I've reported one stalker 70 (about) different accounts, Grindr don't respond to me or delete those accounts. Would love to be hidden from the new accounts that he creates, sometimes five a day.

    I also reported accounts promoting justhole.com hundreds of times. And suggest you start scanning the user database. That's not happening, so let me at least be unseen by all of those accounts.

    The same goes for top-boys.com and all of the only fans accounts, that now have started tapping also. 

    And there's is massive amounts of new accounts, all with a young girl and blank profiles. Would love to have them not showing on my grid (ghosting fresh accounts).

    You guys really need to act forcefully on this wave of fake accounts, to keep paying customers. Thanks.

    I get Grindr likes to be as anonymous friendly as it can be. Hear me out tho, please: add the option to verify ID with a photo if they want. This won’t solve the scammers and bot problem but it’s a step closer. I am sick and tired of seeing scammers and fake people on here so please just DO SOMETHING

    You have 14 1/2 to 15 million users. Of those users, a little under 1 million actually pay. It might benefit you to consider lowering your egregious prices. Furthermore, you pedal thousands of ads a day. There are users, leaving your app and going to scruff simply because your ads are way too much. With the amount you're charging us for your app and the amount of ads you petals that no one, I mean absolutely no one cares about, you obviously have to know that these things alone are bad for your company It seems like you just don't care.     Grindr has separated the more "popular" members in all regions by putting them at the top of the cascade. Some members might object to this! Being more popular results in the members location being inaccurate when others are using the location search option. Members are not even aware they're "popular" because our profiles no longer appear in our own grid. Again, this is just another stupid feature, added in order to used member profiles as click bait to sell ads! ... Get rid of it!! So tired of the juvenile ad ons Grindr keeps coming out with; the scruff team is clearly the one to beat!
