Block list
My block list has disappeared … I can still block people but I have no idea who I have blocked and can’t therefore unblock them! I have complained many many times! No one at Grindr wishes to help. It’s so frustrating!

Advertisement Hell
Tl;dr — Less ads, less noise.
I know that Grindr has to make a profit, and that the business model revolves around encouraging subscriptions or serving ads.
That's the thing, though. Your ad balance is way, way off. I shouldn't have to wait for 1:30 while an extremely loud ad plays, only to have it repeat a message later.
You have two huge problems: firstly, the sheer quantity of ads is staggeringly out of proportion; secondly, the type of shockingly loud, long ads is not only annoying... it's potentially dangerous. After an ad shocked me with its volume, I developed…

Obsessive advertisement
Hello team!
I know that you are trying to push users to transition from a free use account to one you need to pay for, but this FREE NOW advertisement is getting obsessively recurrent and it comes many and many times! Please reconsider your strategy because this is not a way to convince your users to chose a new account service but it just makes them want to delete the app entirely!

App is trash, users keep you relevant
Your only redeeming quality on this app is the number of users
UI is basic and not optimised for easy use
Updates break more than they fix
adverts are ever increasing
costs are going up by adding tiers and essentially trying to make getting laid a paid to win experience we already have to deal with genetics thanks we don't need you adding a wealth gap to sha*in.

Actual live messaging
Live messaging. This app is useless when it takes serval minutes PER MESG TO SEND They tske forever to load from others s well, they wont send unless you stay in that window, not good enough! I pay over 100 per year for this app and I can't accept that you haven't fixed this issue!

Ad delivery logic is making the app unusable
Please reintroduce logic into your ad delivery. I understand that ads are necessary for revenue generation, but they are currently making the app unusable.
Ad delivery used to be structured, for instance, appearing after blocking someone or sending a message.
However, it now seems to be time-based, appearing at any point during the app’s usage. I’ve encountered ads in the middle of updating my profile, causing the changes to be undone. In other instances, they appear before blocking someone or while I’m typing a reply.

I open the app and boom instantly an ad, I go to a chat and before I even can read the first message boom ad again!
