    I met my husband on this app 14 years ago. Boy how terrible it's become. Grindr is the epitome of late stage capitalism. Investors and PE have ruined this application, it's barely usable anymore. How tragic.. they've sold us out to the highest bidder in a race to the bottom. Why do we even use this app anymore? For the love of God, please fill this hole in the market with something thats actually usable. We deserve better...

I can’t possibly afford to be a part of a supportive community when the free profiles are mostly stigma. (JC) I would also put this difficult to find my type.

  3. Not paying for "have they read my message" & all other features that used to be FREE & STANDARD.

    Grindr keèps getting worse & worse along with being MEGA GREEDY by cutting back Standard Features then demanding you pay an arm, leg & dick $$$$ to go unlimited or extra or boost plus they though advertisement on the app so that it does not worth a damn. They need to go back 20+ rev.s back to their roots of why there was EVER a Grindr FOR GAY MEN. MOST of your customers will go to better apps SCRUFF & SNIFFIES WORKING ALOT BETTER just to name a few.

  4. BRING BACK MY SAVED PHASES WITHOUT HAVING TO AGAIN UPGRADE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE

    REALLY CANNOT BELEIVE GRINDR ERASED ALL BUT 1 OF MY SAVED PHRASES AND NOW WANTS TO AGAIN MAKE ME UPGRADE TO PAY MORE MONEY TO HAVE MORE THAN 1 SAVED PHASES. HOW PETTY & LOW IS GRINDR GOING TO GO TO SQUEEZE MORE & MORE MONEY OUT OF OF IT'S CUSTOMERS. AGAIN ALSO KEEP GETTING SENT TO ADS FOR GAME CRAP I HAVE NO INTEREST AT ALL AT SEEING, THIS APP HAS BECOME GARBAGE & USELESS.   5. Ads, Pricing, BAD & BROKEN Features, Unnecessary Buttons

    Grindr has just gone to Abusive for me to use for the following reasons -
    ● Way Over Priced For Most Of Our Community
    These are broken or unnecessary added features-
    ● Why are profiles 1mile next to 58miles away ?
    ● Unnecessary/Useless features - On Bttm Menus
    • Interest Button & New Right Now Button
    ● Limiting number profiles one can view on free vers
    ● Why Don't Filters don't work to filter unwanted
    things (If I don't prefer something Why does app

  6. Free version lockdown is lame, May 2025

    The new changes made this month on the free version of Grindr is ridiculous. App is now unusable unless you want to pay the grossly overpriced fees that many can’t afford.

    Shame on you Grindr. I’ll assist in developing a new app that is affordable and not limited for anyone that can’t afford huge monthly fees.

    Can we add up to 500 characters or unlimited characters. Some other apps have unlimited and I find it handy cause the 255 character not enough.

  9. Add newer tags like rugby for players and fans of the sport

    Adding sports tags like rugby, football etc so people who play the sports and fans can find people into similar things or into players. It just adds an extra thing to help people find who they like easier

    I'm not paying almost $400+ just to get unwanted Extras and sure as f@#k done with Grindr's over Ads that block main screen space. This app is now useless.

    Iit is ridiculous that everytime that you are going to see a profile directly make you see and add, okay finally get it, go back to the dashboard and pum another add, it's becoming very stressful, we understand that you guys try to make money but forcing like this...

    Place this ad between the photos. When I scroll through the photos I see the ad. It is an opportunity to place more ads and they will be less invasive and can be related to items in the photo that was or will be viewed.

    Discrete App Name. Similar to how Discrete App Icon is set up that would allow users to select from discrete preset names or allow users to have a customized name for the grindr app. This would allow for enhanced protection and privacy settings for a given user.

  19. Forced animation every time I return to the explore tab?!?!

    Who was the diabolically naive dev that decided to put a forced animation every time users return to the browse tab?!?! EVERY TIME. It's beyond obscene I've re upgraded for 5min and I'm about to delete the app bc I hate this so much and it's that frustrating. You guys didn't even add a setting to turn it off. Customer churn is your biggest enemy c'mon now get it together Grindr'ers
