Favorites filter is a downgrade bring back the actual tab
Replacing the Favorites tab with a filter was a terrible decision. Now every time I want to check who's online from my favorites, I have to go into filters, toggle "Favorites," and then remember to turn it off before I browse the regular grid again. It's three extra taps for something that used to be one. The current 255-character limit is often too short for users who want to provide more information about themselves, their preferences, expectations, and interests. A higher limit would help users create more detailed profiles and improve communication before starting conversations.2 votes -

Take away free version because now you've rendered it useless.
Free version used to be great, you had a decent amount of profiles show even from a filtered preference but now you're lucky to get 25 profiles. Then you could alter search location which you could see endless profiles show from the search point that could show you the people further than your search allowed, Yes you could only message one of those profiles in 24hours but it was still decent and usable. You've ruined the free version of your own app completely trying to push users to pay a ridiculous price for an app not good enough anymore. Imagine…

Your ads are obnoxious to the point of never wanting to use your app again and this new thing or you can't screenshot anything is also stupi
The ads are so obnoxious and so hard to get around and so frequent it's just ridiculous and also I don't know why you can't screenshot things anymore but you're really going to just lose everyone at this point

You need font size customization
Some users are visually impaired and need larger fonts in your app. Even when I have the system fonts on my iPad or iPhone set to larger, Grindr does not enlarge the fonts because the coding isn’t sent to do so please enable pinch to Zoom or something for people with lower visibility to be able to enjoy your app better

Search
SEARCH is an absolutely necessary feature. The app really sucks without it. Thousands of people have requested it. You even have a post that says you completed the request....until you took it away!
Why would you not have search? What good are notes if you can't look for them?

Class Action Lawsuit
It's really time to begin a class action against these scammers. They have literally made the app intentionally unusable by flooding it with ads if you don't pay. On top of that, if you do pay, you are still inundated with spam from bots with no evidence of actions being taken to prevent or improve the experience all while continuing to increase the price, which coincidently seems to garner even more spam messages. They offer no way to see statuses on reports made and will even prevent you from reporting accounts if you've reported too many issues, which makes dealing…

Create a Visitors Filter
Can you add a filter where you can see only profiles who are visiting your city (with the plane icon)?
Maybe also add “hotel" as a hosting option/filter.

Fix the algorithm
Within the past year, it is fairly obvious that the algorithm, for at least free accounts, has been adjusted to display profiles that aren't "my type" as those I may initiate communication. There are numerous profiles that are my type directly beneath the Xtra cut-off and yet they NEVER bubble up top for my free account. I can only assume this was done to encourage me to pay for an Xtra account, a blatant cash grab.

One of the biggest pain points I currently experience on the app is the slow loading time and occasional lag when navigating between features. This issue becomes especially frustrating when I need to complete tasks quickly or switch between different sections of the app.
Another challenge is that some functions are not always intuitive to find. Important settings and tools can sometimes be buried within multiple menus, making the user experience less efficient than it could be. Hello - You guys need to make an official post about people threatening to post nude photos of others in exchange for money. This is a serious problem and it’s causing people to turn to suicidal ideation. This is a very prevalent but preventable issue if you inform your audience of the threat. I will turn to social media via TikTok and share my story and your companies responses to my message if this is not addressed. PEOPLE ARE DYING AND YOU GUYS KNOW IT IS HAPPENING. Please be better - this can be fixed with a singular informative post.
