This was a great option for iphone users. This is because such purchases do not appear on the apple ID subscriptions page (unlike the monthly and annual subscriptions). Once Grindr appears on the apple ID subscriptions page it cannot be remove — it stays there until 1 year after the subscription ends. Whereas the 24-hour full access purchase option did not appear on that page. As a result, it allowed for much greater privacy and discretion.
