  1. Search tool for bios or profile descriptions

    There should be a tool that allows you to search for key words (or anything you type) and then filter in only profiles that have whatever you typed in, in their bio.

    For example, I usually am hunting for profiles that have stuff similar to "Down for anything," or "Open to Whatever." But it's hard to find those people, especially with all the extra profiles, or when they think it's a great idea to add absolutely nothing else to their profile stats.   2. Disallow VPN access

    Please disallow VPN access for the countless scammers who are trying to take advantage of people online. Most of them show within a 4-mile radius. The tech team must figure this glitch out.

  3. Do you still have the indecency to keep on raising the price?

    It's very,very disrespectful to keep on raising the cost of this ridiculous app which does not meet the gay community needs at all. It's also ridiculous how you work and solve problems within the app. There is never a satisfactory solution for anything

  5. As a Xtra member i ask for less ads on basic profiles

    Grindr is getting too much ads what is annoying to basic users, this also involves the Xtra and Unlimited subscription in less people in the app

  6. Paid Subscriber but Still Seeing Ads

    I'm a paid subscriber to Grindr yet I'm now starting to see ads in my message box. They show up looking almost like a message, but with the word "AD" on the right side. The current one says "Who's the A**hole, Episode 2."

  7. If this app is supposed to be free with advertisement then stop removing features from the free side

    If we have to watch advertisement, every feature should be free. This is ridiculous. Way too expensive

  8. STD tracking and notify your sexual partners

    Got a little idea buzzing in my (freshly tested) head. How about a feature to quietly notify past hookups if we test positive for an STD? Like a "Hey buddy, time to get checked!" kind of thing—helpful, not panic-inducing.

    Maybe we could mark profiles after meeting them (for "fun tracking" and public health, of course). Then, if we test positive, Grindr could send a discreet nudge: "Someone you've met in the last X months tested positive for XXX. Might be a good time to get checked!"

    It’d be a great way to keep things safe and make Grindr even more…

    Adding the option for event-based PREP allows both parties to be aware they need to communicate sex intentions, as taking PREP before is important.

  16. Can you please give an option in settings to change or disguise grindr app icon

    Most of the times when I am in public I fear that someone will watch the app icon and will come to know about me. So if the app has some feature settings to disguise to some icon as they wish, it would be a great help.
