You need to fix the chat bugs
Chats are beyond buggy, they’re non functional. Notifications don’t work, I have badges showing new incoming chats when I send them. I have chats that won’t send, I have chats that disappear and reappear, I have chats that I can’t delete. You guys are seriously messing it up.

COST!
You cost for subscipions is insane. I and many other people are going to leave your app completely due to this. Have a small fee a lot of users will pay instead of a huge fee no one will pay. Otherwise, your app is done and over. way too much competition out there. Dont be greedy, it'll hurt you. You'll see.

Search function on chat history
Last time I used old version, but I can search for what I said in the chat history, but can't get recently results

If you pay for the app, there should be a lot more features you get especially if you’re paying $40/mo. There are other apps that cost a lot less and you get more features

Verify account to reduce Ghosting and fake profiles
It appears Hosting and fake profile to solicit pictures and to raise user emotions before ghosting them is becoming more common than not.
Not only does this impact the mental health of users who are being ghosted, but it seriously impacts the user and makes them question their existence without our community.
Fake users are getting off on getting attention but never following through, nor ever going to meet, but lead the user on before blocking them 2 mins before meeting.There needs to be some facility within the app to verify the user, or a 'commit to meet' option…

BRING BACK THE ETHNICITY FILTER
Bring back the ethnicity filter as I would like the choice to choose what I like. I don't think it's fair to leave people with absolutely no choice to decide on what they want. I think the ethnicity filter made life easier it made it easier to find what YOU wanted.

Allow filtering by hiv status to allow poz guys find other poz guys
It would make such a huge difference to poz guys if you could let us find other poz guys. This won’t get many upvotes because it doesn’t affect most users but for those of us who are poz it would be a huge improvement to our lives to be able to find other poz guys, so please please implement this 🙏. Perhaps the filter can only be visible to guys who have their hiv status as poz on their profile if you’re worried about prejudiced people abusing the filter. The unlimited subscription is way too expensive.
Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable. It would be great to have a single subscription option with all the features at a decent price. There are way too many ads and you have to go through hurdle after hurdle just to get rid of them
Too many ads and you have to go through too many hurdles so that you can get back on Grindr also remove the taps they are annoying they are from people thousands of miles away and these people are fishing for something and grinder is aware of that

Grindr continues to reduce size of free grid
You may have more dudes join XTRA by making free grid larger, not continue to make smaller & smaller. There's other shows in town these days. Grindr limiting people will just make them search elsewhere. Your tactic is blatantly selfish & greedy. Why any consumer would find that tactic appealing is beyond me.
