  1. More Body Type Options!

    The current body type options aren’t exactly what a lot of us would prefer to use. I’ve seen a lot of Bios that say “if there was a thick body type option id choose it” so I know I’m not the only one who thinks the options need some updating! My personal suggestion for either swapping some of the ones currently available or just to be added would be
    1- Thicc
    2- Slim thicc
    3- dad bod
    4- Chub
    5- tall / lengthy

  2. Back arrow! ****k it’s annoying!

    PLEASE for the love of god fix the back arrow - you cant swipe back. Arrow is only way out. You have to hit the exact pinpoint of the arrow otherwise you enlarge the photo. Then have to reset it to get arrow back. Seriously. It’s ridiculous.

  3. Give warnings of any violation

    After being a long-standing user of Grindr, making use of all it has to offer in a respectful and honest way, two days ago my account got randomly banned. No warning. My profile had not changed and in my mind did not overtly break the guidelines. I would like warnings on such drastic action please...as this would help users to rectify any unintentional violation of Grindr‘a rules or guidelines.     Would like to search for guys only with some size of dicks. It’s not a discrimination. By height we can search.     i suggest to grindr to have an email and phone number for contact and the moderator contest more fast when ban account . i have account ban totally incorrectly by abuse of a member grindr ,because i’m full responsibility and respect with everyone.

  7. Video Profile Icon/Media

    Would be nice if a short video could be substituted for a profile picture at least for Xtra users if not for all profiles. The option is available in virtually every other social media platform who's name rings a bell. A section to upload videos into a gallery would be acceptable also. Grindr has come a long way and I know this feature would increase user satisfaction and overall appeal of the app to new comers and old timers alike. Please consider this proposal with the others requesting the same feature.

  8. Simultaneous photo sending/unlocking

    Trading photos is a pain. There's always a debate about who is going to send theirs first. There should be an option to send another user your photo but that photo only gets shown or unlocked to them if they have sent one of their own to you. Both photos unlock simultaneously.

    I could see the notification saying, "this user has chosen a photo to send to you through the fair photo trade option. If you wish to make a fair trade choose a photo to send them in return and we will unlock both simultaneously"

  9. “Not interested” tap option

    Taps. Currently we have the flame, devil and friendly hello tap option. Why don’t we have a “not interested” tap option too? A lot of people have problems with being ignored by others when someone isn’t interested in them. However, people also cannot be bothered to reject others with words - it’s too much effort. This update to the tap mechanism could kill two birds with one stone. It makes it less time/energy consuming to reject people with just a click of a button.     Users should be notified of/have the ability to block other users from non-consensual screenshots of the photos we send, our chats, and our profiles.

  11. Tap the Grindr symbol at the bottom to scroll back to the top near you

    April 29 2021 you updated Grindr. When this happened you remove the tap to scroll all the way back to the top. Now if I'm at the end of my near me I have to scroll manually back to the top. Please re-enable that feature.

  12. The latest update

    Usually your updates enhance the user experience incrementally, the latest update took features away. The Grindr icon at the center bottom no longer returns you to the top of the feed and the search bar at top is gone along with the distance away from where you are in the feed.

  13. Erase all photos ever sent

    It would be important from a security perspective that any user has the option to have all the content erased from all conversations (especially pictures). That way privacy can be maintained for discreet people and if you decide to log out for a while then no one has access to the photos you sent while you're away from the app.

    I already have to sit thru pop up ads, in app ads as U scroll and ads at the bottom of the page. So how greedy are ya Grindr to make money? Lol of all the free features Grindr took away, "Online now" needs to be free again.
