Yes!! This has been a peeve of mine since the first time I got blocked. Users should have the ability to no longer receive your messages. Blocking should mean that you can no longer send messages to that user. That's it! Weeks of conversation and beautiful pics completely disappear just because someone decided I wasn't worth the time. Other services like A4A don't do it this way. It just says 'You've been blocked by this member'. That's it. You can review the conversation to see what you might have done wrong. Much better way of handling things, and they will never hear from you again. (Unless they choose to unblock)

Grindr already has a website. Just add a portal to the same info that the phone app uses and that would make it safer for adult content. All files would still be stored on the PC / laptop.

JS, I totally agree with you. Do you realize that there is already a feedback topic "Please restore ethnicity filter" started on Mar 22, 2021 that already has 6,474 votes and over 1400 comments? You are not alone.

p look, I understand what you're saying. I agree that using a filter doesn't make you racist. But I don't think it makes you stupid. While I don't think there's anything wrong with helping to broaden people's tastes, I believe that ultimately we all decide on what turns us on. I personally can enjoy men from different ethnic backgrounds, but my 'type' does not directly involve ethnicity. Some people feel differently and don't want to be presented with a lot of guys that they are not attracted to. You've read the arguments for this request. One could argue that 'being open minded to intimacy' should include women as well. Many of us are bi. I'm sure you're not making this argument. But I hope you see my point that we all have a desire for what gets us going sexually and a service that claims to facilitate finding compatible partners should not be pandering to the 'woke' mob to the displeasure of their own customers.

Jojo, I think your estimation that "90% of the time ...white men (are) trying to find only other white men." is not taking into account those of us white men who enjoy the company of men of color and would like finding them to be easier.

Robert Been, great thoughts and ideas! I always appreciate someone saying 'thanks, but no thanks rather than just ignoring me. Yeah, it's a drag to get this response from a guy you really wanted to bang, but at least I know where I stand with him. Move on.
