Bots
This site is mostly bots. AI bots. Ever notice in your mail or taps that no one is ever "on". No green lights for pages and pages. Especially if you use their boost. Seems more than suspicious to me!

Profile Verification With Verified Seal
It would be very nice if the profiles could be verified and that the verified ones received a verified seal.
That is important for the safety of users.
I have a problem with that because many guys block me as soon as I send them my photo, because they think I'm fake, and I'm not, apart from being handsome (and believed hahaha) I have a good body, and I take good photos in very beautiful places too so they think I'm fake and they don't give me the opportunity to explain myself, they block me.

Bombarded by ads
Everytime I exit out of sending/receiving a message I am getting constantly bombarded with ads. And it's never just the one either. It's atleast 2 ads, one right after the other, every single time. I know that ads are to be expected in the free version of this app, but surely they don't need to be as frequent as they currently are?!

Can we have a sexual orientation displayed on profiles not just gender?
The amount of straight curious men just got so out of hand on Grindr. Some of this men are just fetishising Transwoman on the app and some trans enables it making it look more look like just a pure sex app. If we have this sexual orientation filter (rather than just gender) we can have the option to see people base on their orientation and find more options for us

Stop showing women!
This is a GAY SITE! Not a straight one! Stop showing sexualised women in the ads! Ain't no gay man that wants to see a pair of breasts while flipping through a dating site! Also bunt out any profiles of women or "straight couples". G A Y SITE! As in Gay Men ONLY. Straight people have every other app that was ever made! They do NOT need to ruin our only safe space that doesn't totally suck like a4a or hornet!

Unlimited too expensive now
"Photo Disappearing" function under the unlimited section is too expensive. This is a super way to protect privacy but it is too expensive now. If someone subscribes for a year at a time, can the price be less expensive like 100 dollars? If so, there will be more subscribers and grindr can make more money to operate well.

Keep XTRA paywall out of “fresh” tab
The fresh tab was until the last update the only place you could meet some interesting people from a little further away without a paywall. Sadly this is no longer the case. To keep the app enjoyable with some variation for people who live in rural areas (not many guys like us around), I think the fresh tab should’ve stayed the way it was. Maybe this can be solved with some clever ad placement on Grindr’s part.

Fix the app
The app fails to send messages ALL the time. Almost as if it's so busy pushing ads, that it fails to serve its own purpose. Sort dumb mistakes like that out, and maybe people would upgrade more often. But I'm not upgrading on an app that doesn't even work.
It does it on EVERY message I send. I have to close the app, then retry the message. EVERY time.39 votes -
Restore Distance Visibility
The whole point of this app was to help us find people closer to us for whatever but unfortunately that hasn't been the case recently. Recent updates on the app have taken the feature that allows you to see how far or near someone is from you on the app. Take for instance, I have had people randomly hit me up and we really hit it off only to realise we were in two different countries far apart. Favourite tab back and search in notes
The removal of the tab for favourite was a very bad move. It makes it more difficult to find my favourites. It has also made it impossible to search in notes that I have saved for favourites. In my notes I have written their names so I can find my friends even if they change their photo. Now I can’t do that any more.

Str8 Trans Attracted category
Have a category for straight men that are attracted to transforming to identify themselves as . The majority of Trans. Women are not gay and the men that like Transwoman are not gay either. Grindr may have gender pronouns but it does not support Transpeople by separating gender from sexual orientation. Grindr classifying Transwoman and the men who like them as gay only adds to the suppression and stereotypes that are placed on them by society. Keep straight guys looking for Trans women or Cd in a separate part of the app, gets tiring only seeing straight men on a gay app
Everyone is welcome, but as a gay man who does not have the freedom as straight people do in the physical world, seeing them take over the app looking for trans women or CD feels like I cant even have one place to find guys like me. There should be a separate tab/ place on the app for straight men looking for this as them bundled into gay men looking for connections is not the one!

give some context when you ban people
I am tired of the constant bans this app provides, I always have to figure out what I did wrong, and I am still confused what happened. I send an appeal request and like 4 days later someone contacts me with no new information and just says a generic we have the right to ban people. I only got unbanned by proving my identity please make this better instead of just banning someone please provide them details to build a proper defense against false bans as they are a more common occurrence than Grindr LLC wants you to believe.

The pay wall is getting more and more ridiculous
Seriously. Now you have to subscribe to see the first View Me? This is almost like entering a tourist attraction and having to pay for the air above you. Can the Grindr team work on features that are actually worth paying for and stop being greedy corporate idiots.

Got banned
I am so worried about being banned to use your app as I had a bad experience that I got banned suddenly with a person. And I appealed for that case. However, I still lost my rights to use Grindr until I had a new phone. Also I lost my 7 month subscription fee. Your company seems very strict to it.
Anyway, I think the better idea to run your app is giving warning (one or two times) at least before the account is banned. Isn’t it fair for the clients to know the situation? At least give us the date…38 votes
