Accessing someone's profile from the Albums tab
When scrolling through the albums that have been shared with you, its impossible to go directly to a person's profile when looking through their pics. You have to interact with the picture somehow, by pressing a icon such as "thumbs up, or HOT" and then going into your chats, opening the chat with the interaction, and then finally go to their profile.

Give users the ability to restrict messages from "Joined Recently" accounts.
If users could use the setting "Do not allow messages from Joined Recently accounts unless I message first," that would reduce incoming spam messages for most users by probably 90% or more. It's an easy fix.

Je respecte les règles et les conditions d’utilisation de Grindr et je pense que ce bannissement a pu être appliqué par erreur.
Je n’ai jamais eu l’intention de violer les directives de la communauté.
Je vous serais reconnaissant de bien vouloir réexaminer mon compte et me donner une seconde chance si possible.

AI bots are making Grindr unusable and unsafe
AI bots are making Grindr unusable and unsafe. I’m fortunate in that I am a UX Researcher by trade and know how to detect and manage them, but most others aren’t as lucky. They routinely lose money and are often exploited for more. Both free and paid subscribers are at risk. Highly suggest hiring staff that are trained and keep their skills updated to combat these threats. It really is possible to do.

Grindr app as a whole
This app is full of bots wanting me to subscribe to their OF page or telling me that they wanna be my daddy and pay my credit cards or give me an allowance. I get multiple a day. And why is the free version only give you 22 profiles to interact with?!? I was subscribed to the unlimited but at $44 per month for bots and ads to boot. Not to mention all the “females” on here. I thought that this was a Gay hookup app. No offense to anyone else’s preference but I’m just saying.

Being Off-line/Incognito should be a human right within GR community
I think Having the option to be offline should be an option at least from the basic paid plan. This unavailable tool of for basic PAID AND UNPAID plans might generate frustration, anxiety and depression to people. It doesn’t also feels also good to leave people « viewed » as humans don’t have the availability to respond that many messages coherently at once

Display Blocked and Hidden users by date of Block or Hide
The app should show the blocked and or hidden users in chronological order of the date they were blocked. Today it seems like there is no Rhyme or Reason as to where blocked or hidden users appear in the list. This makes it very difficult to go in and correct a mistakenly blocked or hidden profile.

Bring back Grindr to Algeria
It hasn't been possible for Algerian gay users to be able to use the app for several months now, this is despite the app not being officially banned in Algeria.
On behalf of many gay Algerians, Grindr is the only app that allows the Gay community to find and support each other, and Grindr is key to helping many Gay algerians have a sense of community and thrive within Algeria.
We hope you brimg back grindr to us soon, we hope you won't make us wait long :(
