Change the software icon
When changing the icon it should be in all the places where the software is displayed for example in the settings in the software on the Andorean screen, when the software opens the regular icon appears which reveals the identity of the application

Take action on ALL violations
People writing ACAB or ALL COPS ARE BAD on their profile is a violation of your own rules yet you never ever take any action against them when reported. There are LGBTQI police on Grindr that would be saddened by seeing this and after dealing with criminals and protestors all day have to come back and see then when trying to look for companionship. It could push them to depression or suicide but because it’s a left agenda you take no action. Time to ban ACAB from profiles. It’s incorrect, incites hate and causes mental anguish.

Secret Admirer
The idea I have isn't like the tinder app idea. However many gays don't know if their crush is gay and need a safe way of finding out w/o getting antagonize. Some men who are not out live in the Grindr shadows. What I recommend is an option for discovery mode. This mode should be safe for both parties and not revealing either men identity until the right data is matched. For You forces you to pay extra to message people who fit the profile you interact with
For You effectively profiles ‘your type,’ removes them from your grid, and forces you to upgrade to Unlimited in order to message them.
The feature doesn’t respect distance: even if they’re right next to you, with Xtra, you can’t message them if they appear in your For You.
This is beyond scummy and driving me to cancel my Xtra subscription.

Je vous demande donc une vérification complète de mon dossier ainsi qu’une réactivation de mon compte. Grindr fait partie de mes outils de communication, et cette suspension injustifiée me pénalise fortement.

The Right now and Boost buttons are placed in a terrible place and it’s been twice now that Right now was accidentally launched.
These buttons are in a terrible location and they shouldn’t be on the grid. I don’t know if you have done this on purpose or not because mine get used accidentally. If you’re going to put it there, I think you should allow people to be able to cancel it without any credit or loss to the account if done so within a couple of minutes.

AI intervention
It would be amazing if you told the ai to block scammers constantly using the same pics or writing the same copy and pasted descriptions of themselves.
Regardless of how many times I’ve blocked people I repeatably get the same ones on my feed, they are a combination of gift card scammers, sexworkers trying to extort $, massage therapists, and people with onlyfans accounts.
If you had ai check the pics which have been previously used before for people whose profiles get reported only for them to clone a new one, then those profiles will be weeded out and we…

Over engineering
Lately there are too many “new” things on Grindr. Over engineering features on the app is destroying my experience. The new discrimination tool of matching echos a rhetoric of entitlement and is creepy to be giving inappropriate usage analysis information to a buyer. Guys who go around saying “we’re not a match”, are generally unkind and this diverts from the “say what your into, not what your not”
Yet with all of this, the grid still bugs out and freezes, messages improperly load. And my usage of the app is given to any creep with $350.00

Prices Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited have become unattainable
Even the XTRA day pass is gone, you think people are going to pay these monthly/annual prices forever? They just keep going up and up, while your advertisements double so you're making even more money through ADs alone. Now if you want Unlimited you have to pay $40 a month PLUS TAX? I've been using this app for 10 years and it was such an easier experience and better layout before, and now it's just full up pop-up ads, or better yet you have to watch a 2 min ad just to view your most recent view on your profile.…

allow us to filter grid to remove people who are boosted roaming or just fillers from far away
We must be allowed to filter back to basics so we can see who is near without boost(pointless unless you have a helicopter) or Roaming (maybe useful if someone is heading your way soon) or just fillers that are dropped in from 40km away. It’s just a waste of time clicking on someone who looks to be near your road to find they are in another county with no warning or symbol even.
