In house ads need to be deletable.
I’m tired of in house ads reappearing after I delete them. They’re the herpes of this app. I pay good money to NOT be advertised to, I shouldn’t be seeing them being snuck into in my inbox in the first place. But once I delete it, it should stay deleted, not reappear the next time I open the app.

This latest wave of AI generated spam accounts combined with your increasing greed is ruining this app
The latest onslaught of fake Nigerian based scam accounts is the worst Ive seen in 8 years. Stop allowing accounts to be created behind a vpn. Legitimate users are prevented from using third party location spoofing apps to obscure their exact location but on the other hand you do nothing about the scammers use android emulators that you make no effort to stop. You frequently erroneously ban legitimate users device IPMIs and effectively force them to purchase a new device to use Grindr again. Feature Suggestion – Option to Hide Online Status
Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Grindr for a while and really appreciate the updates, but I was wondering if there's a way to request a feature or if others feel the same. I think it would be useful to have an option to hide our online status or appear offline to certain users or in general. Sometimes users just want to browse quietly or take a break from chats without appearing rude. I checked the app settings but didn’t find anything related to this. Return the age range filter to be with smaller gap
Currently the smallest gap is 6 years. It is way too big to filter by age… Back in the days you could set it up for the same year like 25-25, but now the smallest range is 25-30.

Few people visible in the grid
You need to make 50 people visible in the grid again, despite filters being used.
If there are no more people on the grid, your app won't be used.

Stop. Changing. Everything.
I get that things need to evolve and get better, but you are constantly changing the app. Does someone on the development board have ADD? Here's what we're all screaming for, yet it's evidently falling on deaf ears:
- Bring back the ability to filter by race. We use this if in a more rural area, so we don't face racism. The hypocrisy of removing this yet allowing the ability to filter out 'fat' people is beyond ridiculous.
- Put the group chat back. We regularly use Grindr to create group opportunities, through hook ups or friend meets. Why was this removed!?

Change lognin method
There should be an option to change to a password based login for accounts that have been set up using a gmail account. A lil more secure and data would be safe if I lose access to my gmail account.

Deleting photos from my gallery
I think XTRA members should be able to delete photos from their gallery. I have so many older photos that just keep getting pushed down further and further. Just like with preferred phrases allow me to delete photos from my gallery.

Share a user's profile
It would be great to have the ability to share a user's profile with another user. There are times when I'm engaging in conversation with someone, and I realize that while we may not be the perfect match for each other, a friend of mine could be an ideal fit. In these situations, I would love to have an option to share that user's profile with my friend or refer them to one another. That I live in a fairly sparsely populated town and state and your system places people who live 150+ miles away from me. WTF???
Don’t show people who are non-geographically desirable. That really sucks and not in a good way. Probably time to just delete the account. Not worth it with the adds that are COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT

Roam is a scam
First of all when you buy the ability to roam for an hour and you she the Ability to not roam don't continue to let the clock run out. If we stop roam the timer should also stop you're scamming people. Secondly when we put our profile let's say in Chicago give me profiles in Chicago. Instead of taking the mileage from my location to Chicago and giving me a radius of that milage that is not what is advertised that we paid for. The flashing ads are so intrusive even to me. I fear that somebody with epilepsy could possibly have a goddamn seizure because of how intrusive andFLASY they are at times. Stop being so god damned greedy
The subscription cost has been too much for a long time now. These additional features behind a paywall has me seriously considering to only use your competitor after being a regular user of your platform for nearly a decade. Instead of milking every dime my maximizing the revenue from each individual user, you should be trying to grow your subscriber base by building value in the product. Choosing who is allowed to message you.
We should have a feature that allows all users to have a “request for chat” button. That way we are not bombarded with messages and pictures we didn’t consent to. It would promote a more organized inbox and enable people to sort through who they want to talk to and who they don’t. We would get a notification where we can press accept or decline and when decline that person won’t show up on our feed and vice versa.
