3. Actually moderate the platform

   Recently I’ve started seeing bot accounts with the same username and profile pictures copy and pasted all over my feed. Blocking them doesn’t work because a carbon copy just pops up minutes later. They don’t respond to messages and have links to onlyfans profiles in their bios. I’ve even seen pairs of these accounts using the same profile photos right next to each other at the same time so it is so blatantly a scam. How this is allowed to take up space on my feed is beyond me. Not to mention the numerous other bots that message me as if they want to meet up, then just send me an only fans link as soon as I ask to make plans. Do SOMETHING at the very least because clearly there is no attention being given to this.

   Please make an easier may to delete multiple messages at a time. Deleting messages one by one takes way too long. There should be a way to select multiple accounts you were previously chatting to and delete them.

   Grindr’s out here acting like it’s the Versace of dating apps when it’s barely giving Walmart clearance rack energy. You can’t even scroll past 2 miles without that little red dot popping up like, “Oh, you thought? Pay for XTRA.” And don’t get me started on the profiles—you click a few, and suddenly they’re all locked behind that upgrade wall, practically yelling, “Cash only, babe.”

   And let’s talk about those subscription prices. XTRA is $19.99 a month, and Unlimited’s pushing $24.99 like they’re offering fine dining when all you’re getting is the dating app equivalent of fast food. What do you even get? A couple extra filters, the ability to see who tapped you, and maybe fewer ads if you’re lucky. But the rest of it? Same mess. You’re still invisible, still getting no replies, and still stuck questioning every life choice that led you here.

   Oh, and those ads? Everywhere. Long, loud, and relentless. They’ve turned the free version into a carnival of frustration just to bully you into paying. This isn’t matchmaking; it’s daylight robbery. And guess what? Even people who pay are still complaining.     Can you bring back the message search feature? People will often start a new conversation on a new profile after a few days/weeks/months and I don’t have the previous chat to refer to. I feel like guys can be intentionally misleading about how willing you were to participate in sexual acts with them if you don’t remember how they previously behaved.

13. Require basic profile information

    A completely blank profile is a waste of time for everyone. To have an account on Grindr, some basic information should be required. I understand privacy, but putting basic info like age is not going to identify someone.

    1. Display name should be required to help separate the different chats. I have numerous chats with no display name, so it’s hard keeping track which one is which.
    2. Age should be required. As a 43 year old, I have no desire to meet people under a certain age or over a certain age. Search by age is almost pointless as so many people leave it blank. Letting someone know your age is a common courtesy.
       
    3. Position should be required. There are endless profiles (mostly blank), so I like to search for people by position I am interested in. The position search is pointless if no one fills it out. I don’t want to waste my time trying to hook up with someone to find out they are not a position I want to meet.
    4. Looking for should be required. Why waste mine and their time if I am not what they are looking for. I would rather spend my time looking for someone interested in my position.
       
    5. In the about me section, make it required to at least x amount of words, such as 25.

    If the point of Grindr is to meet someone, knowing some basic information will help find that person. If someone is afraid to put any details at all, such as age, they probably do not belong on the app.

    They should put in a button or something so when you purchase an upgrade there is a way to make sure it works before they charge your card. I just bought an upgrade/subscription 2 days ago and still not working, and the mobey was already taken out of my acvount.

    It should be nice to give more value to PREP by using a specific tag. At the moment there is a tag for BB but it is not the same thing. BB gives a shade of dirty sex while PREP give a shade of safer sex.

    Grindr is full of bugs, ads, and very expensive, plus I think they ban accounts for no reason, these decision makers are probably homophobic too... you can rate the app in the Google Play Store and others and if it has a bad rating Google will remove it because that's the only way they'll do anything about this app, because you can't achieve anything with suggestions here.They are falsely banning ordinary people while those who should be are staying in the app. They really ban a lot of people all at once, which really doesn't go anywhere, then they just delete everything, they usually don't even understand dialects and words and they just ban you based on that

20. Updated the app today Nov 22 and now its really slow full of more glitches it already had. Im paying for a subscription and im not likint it
