Distance
Display distance (when enabled) in upper left corner of every visible profile. Only update when refreshing or changing screen. Limit to upper 9 visible profiles to reduce overhead.

Swipe right to go back
The current version no longer allows you to go back by swiping right. The only way to go back is to tap the left facing arrow.

Having access to see what devices are logged in and being able to remove them from your profile. And this should be available to all members

Bring back unlimited favorites
I feel like features are being taken away from us and put behind (ridiculously high) paywalls. So apparently there's now a limit to how many favorite profiles you can bookmark and see? Really fed up with all the limitations. It does not make me consider upgrading, it makes me consider ditching the app for good.

Taps
Delete taps! This function as "hi" and 😈 + 🔥 is bad for communication. Before this feature the app used to be pretty social and you could talk to people. Please, erase this function from the app. ✌️

ETHNICITY
Bring back the ethnicity selection! I'm tired of having to search for what I like when I was able to select it previously 🙄 so ridiculous

Verified users
Social media sites often offer verification to users to ensure authenticity and safety to other users when connecting.
Grindr is often used by people that are closeted, shy and discreet, therefore even a profile that is verified without a picture would increase the chances to users to connect.43 votes -

Trans need they're own app too many on here
Grindr was supposed to be a gay hookup or dating app not for trans people that are guys to female or female to male or the ones they're looking for a male and female couple or the ones that say they're straight or the hustlers or the masseuses it should be just guys looking for guys everyone else should not be allowed on the site and also these young kids that keep popping up on here and they're reported and they create another ad. Tags
There should be 2 sets of tags on profiles. One set that describe you and one set that describe what you like/ are interested in. For example: there are straight men on the app that are interested in trans women. It they were to put 'trans' in their tags the way it is now their feed will be a mix of trans women as well as other men interested in trans women. 2 sets of tags would fix this issue.

STOP WITH THE EXCESSIVE ADS
ENOUGH! We get it it! You want people to purchase your overpriced app, but let's get real the pop-up ads? Really? It was bad enough with the ads that popped up when exiting a chat that you grow gray hair from waiting for the ad to allow you to exit, but now I open the app and get redirected, I'm in a message and get redirected. You're totally killing the experience, and maybe more people would buy the app if you weren't so greedy and charging an arm and a leg. You guys are dragging this app through the dirt.…

Distance filter for everyone!
Nearest profiles I keep getting are over 100km away! Very rarely do I see someone from my area or at the very least the next city (25km) I’m also aware that the app doesn’t show me everyone, as i have a bunch of friends that live nearby that also use Grindr and they either can’t see me while I can see them, or the other way around despite having filters off for testing purposes. I also receive taps from profiles with tags I have filtered and are near, but I couldn’t see them prior to receiving the tap from them.…

Country Choose
I live close to the boarder, and more than half my options live in a different country. What's the point, and why would I EVER spend money on the overpriced subscription when I can't meet half these guys anyway? Make it more firndlynas many people outside the US, live in boarder areas.

Messages not sending or receiving. Major bug. It needs an update
This is a new bug affecting a lot of people. Sometimes reinstalling the app helps, but now the only fix for me personally is deleting my account and recreating if, until the issue happens again within a few hours.
