3. Allow Cross Platform Logins and Backup

   I have 2 devices, 2 subscriptions, 1 Apple, 1 Android. I cannot restore the subscriptions if I switch them unless I'm on the device I used to register the subscription.

   Additionally I cannot backup/restore the chat across platforms, they have to stay Android/Apple focused.

   In essence when you buy a subscription, it's not YOU that's subscribed, it's the DEVICE you're using.

   Fix it by allowing a login to your XTRA account on any device regardless of platform, and allow chat BACKUP to one solitary solution, e.g Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud - but don't make it a mandatory selection based on your device. If you sell your Android and move to iPhone you lose EVERYTHING with Grindr.

   Very poor software design - lazy in the extreme!!!

4. High resolution pictures

   High resolution pictures please. We have phones capable of taking pictures in 8K now and Grindr still violently compresses pictures. They look so muddled. Thanks 👍🏻

5. Can there be lower prices for premium memberships? This would allow more people to join in and create revenue by volume not by price.

   Lower prices would mean more volume of sales and increase production by at least 50% year over year and have access to more services as a free option too that will allow people to test out the products and then make the purchase.

6. Stop making free features somethig we have to buy now.

   Stop charging for free service. All these bullshit ad's and the taking away of features is taking an already fucked up app and making it something I won't be using. 1st off half my "local" profiles are all 85 miles away.... bullshit.

7. "For You" grid is useless at the moment

   "For You" grid should take into account hashtags and filters. I have my age filter set to 40+ because I have zero interest in younger but every single profile highlighted in the "For You" grid is under 30. As it is right now, it's just noise and another block to ignore like inline ads.

8. PLEASE Let me filter out trans, women, non-binary, and men in dresses.

   Grindr, please show you actually care about your actual member base -- the folks who made you popular. If you are going to insist on making the gay app into a tranny utopia, at least give us the filter to remove them.

   By keeping the trans stuff, you're insulting those who made you popular. You're insulting actual women. You're contributing to the unethical "conversion" of gay men by suggesting they're actually women (this is no better than christian conversion, btw).

   I'm a paid member and have been for years. Recently you banned my account because of the profile words "not really into trans" (how much nicer should I put it??). You won't let me state that I'm not into trans and then you push it onto me by not letting me filter them out.

9. Why cant I search my notes anymore?!

   We used to be able to fav a profile, write notes, and then later go into our favs and search our favorites based on the notes we wrote. Now our only filter option on our favs is whether or not a fav-ed profile has a note?!

   WHO DECIDED TO DO THIS?! Why would you remove such good functionality? How are we supposed to search through our ever increasing size of fav-ed profiles if we can't rely on our notes to search through it?!?!

11. Safety and privacy of gay men.

    This isn’t to bash anyone or discriminate against any gender or gender identity, but this used to be an app where gays could come to meet, hookup, chat, etc. But now with trans and CD’s making profiles on a site that wasn’t created for them, they’re taking away from the grid space that gays would otherwise have to interact. I also don’t believe that straight guys should be allowed to make profiles on grindr because I honestly believe that half of those profiles are fake and used to extract personal information from the gays that attempt to interact with them. This started as a gay app and I wish it still was. Aren’t there other specific apps for other genders and identities? Especially now since one of the main filters has been removed the grid is more crowded than ever with folks who aren’t even interested in gay guys. I’d really like this app to go back to being gay again.

    So many scammers nowadays, they will started with a ‘hi’ and ask our preferences (boyfriend or friend), then they will tell that it’s not convenient to talk through this app. I don’t know what they are up to, but it’s getting annoying and very exhausting. I am trying to find the real ones here, not a scammers. Please do some kind of verification to prove that the owner of the account is the real person and not a scammer, maybe you can start with a ‘photo verification’, to check if the person is real or not. 18. Banned accounts

    Grindr’s system for reviewing accounts is ridiculous. I was a paid subscriber for 4 yrs and all of sudden I received a ban. The appeal process is as ridiculous. I was banned for no reason, I NEVER violated any community rules or standards. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE DO NOT PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION BECAUSE YOU COULD BE BANNED FOR NO REASON AND STILL BE BILLED… Grindr seriously needs to review how they determine a account ban.

    Include a filter to display profiles who have their social media connected. It would be better if we could filter by specific type, so if you're looking for Twitter and Insta, you don't see the profiles with only Spotify connected.
