1. Too many women

   Since when did Grindr become an app for straight men and women?? The whole point was that it was for gay men looking for other gay men. A large number of the “women” actually appear to be scams trying to steal your money or data, but that’s not the point. Get rid of all the women on the app for gay men. I understand bisexual men looking for other men to join them and their partners; that’s not the issue. I am in no way interested in women sexually and it also makes Grindr feel like it is no longer a welcoming space for gay men to be gay when it is full of straight men looking for only women and women looking for men. If you are determined not to get rid of them because the ones that are not scams may be paying users, consider adding an option to switch between an entire grid of homosexual men versus whoever is looking for heterosexual connections so that those of us strictly interested in MEN can see ONLY MEN. Maybe allow a user to choose which grid(s) to appear on, and if a woman shows up in the gay men’s grid, we can freely block them or filter them out by sending them over to the other grid or something like that.

   So within the gay community we have a wide variety of different kinks. In the tags it would be nice to see ABDL, Age-play, and Diapers as a tag.

13. Change notification sound on iOS (it’s easy on Android)

    It is difficult or impossible to change the notification sound on iOS. This is not the case on android. It’s quite easy to make it sound like anything you want however, on iOS you seem to be stuck with the default sound which is a dead giveaway if you’re in a restaurant or someplace.

14. Allow Cross Platform Logins and Backup

    I have 2 devices, 2 subscriptions, 1 Apple, 1 Android. I cannot restore the subscriptions if I switch them unless I'm on the device I used to register the subscription.

    Additionally I cannot backup/restore the chat across platforms, they have to stay Android/Apple focused.

    In essence when you buy a subscription, it's not YOU that's subscribed, it's the DEVICE you're using.

    Fix it by allowing a login to your XTRA account on any device regardless of platform, and allow chat BACKUP to one solitary solution, e.g Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud - but don't make it a mandatory selection based on your device. If you sell your Android and move to iPhone you lose EVERYTHING with Grindr.

    Very poor software design - lazy in the extreme!!!

    Grinder is dieing because of females and Trans. If you are allowing them here then give me a filter so I don't have to see them AND they can NOT see me. Just a preference so enable it so there is less hate and less whining!!! This used to be an awesome gay men site! Now it's being destroyed
