Require face pics & Men only
As an app originally intended and still almost exclusively used for and by men interested in other men, to now have scores of female profiles and transgender individuals who clearly don’t fit the crowd and stick out like ingrown toe nails, is both extremely obnoxious & moderately offensive, and also indicates that Grindr’s current owners aren’t taking their true base of customers seriously anymore, if they ever did. Advertisement that pop up so frequently, though problematic, understandable, the only issue, why buttons/x’s/ close buttons are so small and difficult to close, most of the time, attempting to press the close/exit button accidentally triggers opening of the advertised app. Seems anti-customer/user friendly tactic, especially when the customer/user waited the allotted time duration, and the small close bottom triggering opening the App Store unintentionally wasting the user/customer’s time having to the close the App Store and then returning to Grindr to have to try to close the ad on Grindr as well.

I would like to know who has added me to their list of favourites and also being able to remove my profile from there. Thus people who I don’t know or like, won’t be able to stalk me.

Make body pics mandatory and ban fake pics
Make body pics mandatory. I understand someone may not wish to put their face for everyone to see, but there's nothing to excuse no body pics. Also, ban pics which are of else than the user, e.g. anime drawings and other stuff like this.

24h unlimited subscription doesn't work
I used to purchase this temporary subscription, until a friend notified me that I was online, but I had incognito mode on. So I reached Grindr support on November 09th reporting the situation. After 2 or 3 days, an agent called Dan replied my email, saying that they identified a bug, but it would solved.
Since now, dezember 23th, after a lot of complaints and always the answer "thank you for your patience" my patience is over.
I'll start to spread and people "Don't purchase this product" because, even that they know about the bug, they keep selling it to…8 votes -
Filters
Well, when we deactivate the “show me” option in explore, this should not mean that the filter option, for example, the person who deactivated the function does not appear, it is wrong, sometimes you want to see a certain person or a certain audience and you don't see it due to the removal of seeing it in explore, it's okay that there are unwanted contacts but the filters don't match the exploration, if you think like that the whole app is about exploration. It's a big hunt.

Add “cuddles” to the “what we’re looking for” tag
Some people are asexual or sometimes just arent currently looking for sex. Sometimes, we’re just wanting to hold or be held- no sex. So many people will think “cuddles/cuddling” as a name means to cuddle and then have sex- it would be more efficient to have a “position” as “cuddle” or “no sex” even. Having your position only eludes to the fact that u might wind up wanting sex. We need something for those of us with a strict no sex boundary for that time period at least.

unfair block function
When using the block function, the chat records of both sides should not disappear at the same time, which is very unfair, because the blocked user loses the opportunity to block. At the same time, if he is harassed, the chat records and other evidence will disappear because of the other party's block, and the evidence will be gone!

Add another tab to top of Inbox - Pinned
My inbox is getting filled with lots of pinned contacts. So when a new message comes in from a regular contact, I have to scroll many many screens to get to the top of a new regular message. My recommendation is to add a Pinned tab to the inbox. Therefore when a new message arrives, if it's not in your message tab, you just click on Pinned tab, & you can see your latest message. So the message tab would have messages from regular contacts & pinned tab would have messages from pinned contacts

Boost
Please give people on Grindr the option of having a boost on their profile or page. It's expensive and nothing more than gambling which people turn to out of desperation to find someone but at great cost to them often without success. It's also an addiction and you must realize the mental health and hardship this brings to a lot of people.
If you value the well-being of your customers you would look into doing this. People's lives ( extreme I know ) can get ruined because of Grindr Greed to cash in on the vulnerable who use the app8 votes -
Grindr is an app for MEN to find MEN
This app has been an app for gay men to find and connect with other gay men since its inception. Don’t get me wrong I am all for inclusivity and encourage everyone to be themselves, however when I get online and my whole grid is guys who’s tag line is “no fucking men” it kind of defeats the entire purpose of the app. Pandering to every demographic group within the LGBTQIAblahhlah group is for Starbucks and Calvin Klein. Account banned thinking I am spam
I request to improve Grindr system to have enhanced checks like the other dating app does. I was banned in error assuming I am spam
Tinder/hinge/bumble all check for spam/profile photo verification account is created. That’s instant. None of the other apps bans in middle of chats. That’s very disappointing!On Grindr, I have been waiting since weekend. My whole weekend got spoilt. I’d like you to escalate this so that users are not left banned for long periods without violating anything! This has happened with me several times in last. Pls escalate this!
