The new changes
With the new changes of viewing someone’s profile it’s very difficult to see their boi. Most of the time you’re not able to view their bio. Frustrated

Local business owners
Local business owners could pay a premium fee and receive a special icon and thus be able to promote their businesses on here many other apps do it I don't know why it's not allowed on here and plus an ad for something local is a lot easier to swallow than social media and video game ads that you guys are currently running

That my page is full of guys hundreds of miles away and very few locals
Just get people close by. I do believe this varies from location to location. I was in Spartanburg SC last week and lots of their locals on the page. I’m Birmingham Al it’s really bad that’s for sure. Very few locals

Stop bombarding me with desperate pleas for money
Like it’s not even the candy crush getting on my nerves anymore. I’ve learned to live with it. It’s your app asking me to buy boosts! Buy pro! Buy this! Buy that! Like girl we get it you’re horny for money but like… you’re not getting my money. And the more you distract me with ads shoved into my face the less I use your product. It’s truly that simple 🤷🏻♂️

Longer bios
Allowing for more characters in bio allows one to flesh out personal details, desires, info, etc, as opposed to using shorthand. Those who want to keep bios brief can, but as Grindr seeks to expand and cater to different crowds, perhaps a longer bio could help with diversifying the app’s usage.

What's with the monetization of super fat and super skinny people?
a friend and I who are both on grindr were talking about our experiences on the app and they were talking about how they don't get a lot of attention because they're fat, and I at first boiled it down to fatphobia/body shaming, and out of curiosity I used the weight filter and put in 300+ lbs minimum to see if my friend would come up, and the results automatically switched to XTRA/Unlimited and I couldn't see my friend's account unless I paid a monthly premium. Extortion and blackmail as a result of cat fish unverified accounts
Grindr, to the best of my knowledge, is the only platform of its kind that does not verify users. Now I acknowledge that Grindr will not confirm this, but at least 25% of all active accounts are troll/cat fish accounts that are on the platform for the sole objective of masking their identity to lure legitimate users in, only to steal our (sometimes intimate) personal property. Privacy - Grindr Trackers are sending your full name and email to 3rd Parties!
I have a tool that tells me what apps on my phone are sending information about me elsewhere (trackers). While common in many apps, what is quite UNCOMMON and ALARMING are the number of 3rd party trackers Grindr enables in the background (even when the app is not running) and the sheer variety of personal information it is sharing to anyone that will pay them for your data. Bring back the ‘Explore’ tab
Bring back the old ‘Explore’ tab. This was good to be able to look at who is local to you and then quickly switch tabs to the ‘Explore’ location. I like to be able to switch between the two especially when planning trips.

Allow realtime syncing of massages on multiple devices.
Allow grinder messages to automatically sync between personal devices. I'm freequent at my desk on my computer for work, and since Grindr Web was taken down, I used my iPad for grindr... which works but half of my messages end up on my iPhone and the other half on my iPad.
Especially when I'm switching I have no idea which device is going to get a new message that comes in. every other messaging service on the planet manages this.

Cyberflashing/Harassment
Cyberflashing is a serious problem of privacy violation and sexual harassment. Too many people sending nude photos without consent on this app. The category "Accept NSFW Pics" is useless.
I think the definitive solution for this problem is that you can't receive photos if your category "Accept NSFW Pics" is "Never".
And you can't send photos to someone who set this option to "Never".This is a critical function the community needs.
