“For you” sucks, hard. get rid of it. A great place to have people too old or fat for your preferences, 100+ miles away, who you cannot hide. And then sneak someone hot in you can’t contact even though you pay for Grindr, but you don’t even know if they are nearby anyway. And when there’s a nasty photo you just have to deal with it. This section interrupts the grid and is a terrible “feature” no one wants or asked for.

I suggest requesting registration verification also using valid identity documents that, by current laws, remain private and visible only to the manager of personal data, but at least we avoid that minors can register. it is dangerous...

Multiple Hide from browse
Allow the select multiple profiles from the browse page and hide them all at the same time, so that you don't have to go into each one hide them.

When someone taps you, you can’t message them
When you see that someone’s taps you and you click on their profile, if you chick to send a message, the keyboard doesn’t appear and it doesn’t allow you to exit the message until you quit the app.

Add a timer to taking the verified photos
I wanna have a Grindr verified booty pic, but that’s almost impossible to do when the camera doesn’t have a timer function available when taking the photo!

Watermark photos taken earlier in Grindr can’t be used as profile pics.
Allow previously taken watermarked pictures to be used in profile pic lineup. As of now, you can only take a new ones in the app or upload from phone library.

change "middle eastern" to "west asian"
"middle east" is a globally inaccurate and euro centric term to describe west Asia. please be apart of the change on how we view people of west Asian decent. we are from the continent of Asia not some "middle"

Right now feature needs help.
I think we need a confirmation prompt or remove it from the grid space. I’ve accidentally triggered it 3 times. That or have a way to turn it off and save the time remaining

For searches, ability to exclude users who live across a national border from oneself.
Hi there. For any user that lives close to a national border, it’s frustrating that our searches are filled with guys we can’t get to because of said border. It would be great to have an exclusion criterion that allows us to filter out foreign users. (For example, I live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, USA. My searches are overflowing with guys who live in Victoria, BC, Canada). Thanks for considering it!

"For You" is a waste of space and development time
The new "For You" section on the grid is a complete waste of space and development time. It is unclear how these profiles are being decided upon, there is no way to dismiss failed suggestions, and personally I see the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. In my experience they are all female presenting people who I have never seen on my grid before. Get rid of it, don't spend any more money on such a wasteful thing

I’m concerned about the recent change that prevents users from blocking someone unless they’ve messaged first. “Hide” only removes them from my grid but still leaves me visible to them, which doesn’t protect privacy.
There are many situations — avoiding an ex, a partner, or someone unsafe — where the ability to block on sight is essential. By removing that option, Grindr has weakened a critical safety feature and effectively made true privacy a paid perk through Incognito Mode.
I urge Grindr to reinstate proactive blocking for all users. Basic…

Manually prock ads and have a countdown for how long an add is needed to access the service for free.
So basically I understand you need the ad revenue too keep the app a free service. But the ads have made the app way too glitchy. Sometimes they don't prock properly and the app freezes, sometimes they do prock but they prock behind the app, never end and make the app super laggy, sometimes it doesn't register you've watched an advert and makes you watch 4 in a row, sometimes the app can't handle the data load and just crashes. Basically it doesn't work and has made grindr semi inoperable. Even if you pay for grindr extra they still ruin…
