   Create a feature that allows users to select the languages they speak so that they can filter who they're able to communicate with. This also prevents the hassle of trying to figure out who speaks your language and who's using an online translator or who just ignored your message because the other person didn't understand you due to a language barrier. Furthermore, in the event that you decide to meet up with someone where there's no wifi connection, and this person doesn't speak your language, everything will be lost in translation. While a person's location does help to provide context clues, it doesn't always provide us with the information about what languages the other party speaks.

2. Keep block permanent stop showing

   When I block a profile on my grindr, I am literally just not interested and they are not my type.. Please stop showing people I have blocked on my 'viewed me' list.. When I block someone I want it permanent

3. Age interested range and search filter

   Every day I'm turned down by twinks, saying I'm the age of theirs grandpa!

   Shouldn't you make the lives of both of us, a little easier?

   Why don't you add a range age, in the profile of users, that we are interested for, (ex. 30-40) and then a "users interested in my age" filter in search?

   Even the first option will show to others what age they like, and not forcing them to write it in their description, (many they don't even do so), and us of contacting them, only to be ignored, or worst, to get unwanted racist replies for our age.

5. Vet display pictures quickly!!

   Why does Grindr take years to vet the moderation of pictures?? Asides that why do they allow some person to upload nudes on their Avis and restrict others? Very unfair

6. Have an option to only receive messages and taps from people in your favorites list.

   I get so many messages from empty profiles and taps from massage “therapist s”. It’s so distracting. I really only want to receive feedback from my favorites unless I’m looking for new people at which time I could turn the option off.

8. Not being able to see who views us without paying thats not fare you should also make everybody show a face picture regaurdless

10. Greedy Grindr

    Grindr keeps implementing unwanted functionality and limiting normal functionality, while stuffing the app with ads. You can really see the company is owned by investment agencies who want nothing else but to see as much return on investment, as soon as possible.

    The amount of people one can see is becoming less and less and the filters that can be used keep getting limited. Meanwhile, Grindr is implementing features that literally nobody asked for, such as albums, stupid GIFs and dumb gaymoji I’ve never seen anyone use if not accidentally.

    The prices you are asking for your premium subscriptions, Xtra and Unlimited, are completely excessive (€20 or €40 a month, literally where do you get the nerve). It makes it a product for only the rich, while making it inaccessible for the less wealthy LGBTs among us. Meanwhile, your largest competitor in Europe, ROMEO, is able to make profits with a premium subscription of only €7,50 a month, while offering its free users more features, ad-free, than you do to your Unlimited subscribers, and still donate parts of their profits to a non-profit LGBT-rights supporting foundation.

    Here’s an idea: give free users access to basic filters such as length and relationship status and give them the possibility to see reasonable amounts of people rather than limiting their view distance more and more. Other features, such as albums, gaymoji, GIFs and reading receipts you can make Xtra or Unlimited only.

    Change your policies now, because as long as Grindr keeps being a greedy company that only exists to milk the LGBT community off their money, I will never, I repeat NEVER pay for Grindr, and I will make sure it won’t make profits out of me by using a firewall ad blocker on my phone such as AdGuard, 1Blocker or Lockdown Firewall. Thanks for understanding.

12. Don’t compress photos

    I’m being told my newly uploaded recently taken iPhone 13 Pro photos are blurry , for the first time in all my years of using grindr. I suspect it has to do with grindr compressing these photos. This is a photo driven app and interaction is driven by media sharing. Grindr should not be compressing photos and lowering quality as it directly affects the enjoyment and mutual trust among users

    Quick reply. I don't wanna have to enter the app just to reply a text. Be considerate for closeted people who wanna discreetly reply. You should add the person's name n text to notifications to quick reply. It's a very basic feature in smartphones. And dammit don't make people pay for it.

20. Allowing multiple phones on 1 Grindr Account

    My partner and I have a joint Grindr account for 3sums however, only 1 device gets message updates and they don’t sync. It’s really annoying! We don’t want to make our own accounts, we’d rather be in the loop at the same time, just like we do on Instagram, Facebook, and Google Voice.

    Please Sync Messages between devices! I’m sure other people have multiple phones and are having the same issue.
