    I don’t want the first message I receive to be a dick pic and then they expect a conversation to evolve from it.. I’m sick of I.. I just want a relationship and the min-max age preference doesn’t work because I have people who are well above my age I don’t want messaging me, i have the “wanting images” ability off and well no one reads bios.. no one is considerate or even nice about it either… I’m not treated as a person but treated as if I’m the 50th whore in their DMs… I’ve left the app before due…

    Having a feature where I can search based on characteristics I’m looking for as well as people who are looking for people like me (age, height, weight, type, etc). This should help making finding people who are interested in me, and me interested in them, easier.

  6. Height in Imperial but Distance in Metric

    Ability to choose which stat uses with unit system. I’d like to see Height in Feet but Distance in Kilometres as is common in Australia.

  7. Lack of search option on paid version. This is literally the only i app I use without a basic search option

    How can an app that has a paid version not have even the most basic search options?

    Just the ability to search for user names would be very helpful!

  8. Better Grindr Customer Support

    Grindr should have better customer support. When users are banned, it should not take a long time for a support member to reach out to them and help them and they should handle ban issues quicker, a few hours at the most, but less than 1 day. Grindr support should tell the user why exactly they are being banned and proof as well. They should have valid reasoning for banning or suspending user accounts and explain exactly how they are violating Grindr community guidelines. Grindr support should have virtual chat support as well instead of just reaching out through emails.…

  9. Profiles without face pics should be limited

    It should have an option to forbid profiles without complete face pics from sending any text messages. In this case, these profiles could send Taps and they would be allowed ONLY to send pics and album in the chat. It would be possible to start the text conversation ONLY if the user that received the pics sent some text.

  10. Pictures 4 picture tap

    You tap a grindr button to send and also request a verifiable picture 4 picture.

    It will make people more confident and comfortable knowing who is on the other side. It will almost save you the humiliation of send out a picture only to be ignored and rejected.

    It will will give a chance to the people who are actually there with to use the app for what it is. Too many fake accounts and wondering if is a bot or someone who is just there to scam people

  11. Vaccinations

    In the profiles for vaccinations there should be also hepA, hepB, and HPV possible to select to make the list for all available vaccinations for STI complete (in addition to Covid-19 and Monkeypox). This would maybe also help growing awareness for all available and recommended vaccines for MSM.

  14. Make a temporary bio

    You should be able to make a temporary bio. For example if you are looking for something just right then and it can’t fit in the display name. Would be cool if you could set a time limit on it as well.

  17. Give unlimited expiring photos

    Sometimes you don't want creepy and/or abusive people to have permanent access to your face and/or nude pictures. Some people also live in extremely homophobic regions/countries. Anonymity can be extremely important for people who can't be out for safety. Give more expiring photos for free.

    Allow people to vanish or not be shown so when they are near people they don’t want to see them so close they can have their privacy without having to block people and then unblock them. Make it so it doesn’t show how many miles away you are and randomly generates a location when accessing the profile through a chat. My neighbors bother me a lot and I want to go outside again and be able to walk around the block without being stocked by strangers that think I care.   19. Filter by State

    I would like the option to filter by state. I live in Long Branch, New Jersey and while the physical distance to New York City is only about 20 miles the actual driving distance is more than double that and the time required atleast triple. The ability to filter results to only New Jersey would be very helpful.
