  3. LONGER bio descriptions

    Grinder needs to allow for Bio descriptions that contain more than 255 characters. Apps like Scruff allow you paragraphs and paragraphs. The 255 character limitation on Grindr is simply horrible.

  4. In app notification of tos violations

    Not all emails arrive and it feels moderation is random. In app notification of tos violations would provide coaching and compliance. Right now it’s just ban with no idea of why or how long. Now the app is pretty bad for mental health. But exclusion is worse. Some won’t respond but most will

  5. Quicker spam report-and-block

    Currently reporting and blocking a spam account takes at least seven steps: open chat, tap the three dots, spam, next, submit, (…), attach chat, block. Make it much quicker please. Spam accounts are obvious and annoying. They start a chat with one picture soliciting an external site and it should not take this many steps to report and block them.

    I as other complainants on here , am annoyed by the always misplaced advertising , sometimes in the middle of typing a response to someone which is extra annoying .
    What else bothers me is that the ads seem to be targeting hetero interest groups ( eg I get job at BHP MINING - and ladies fashion or stupid hetero social apps )

    I would welcome that Grindr looks at other gay social apps ( romeo hornet jack’d scruff squirt etc ) how they handle their advertising , subtle , and I am sure they make enough profit from their…

    Could you bring back the race area on filters. I like my Latin guys and it’s hard when it get mostly no Latin guys when I know they are there it’s not being racist it’s ni different then twinks and bears or weight?

  15. Please can we block spam messages sent from 6000km away. Why allow an unsolicited message to appear from so far away.

    Have ability to prevent unsolicred messages from over 500km from being recieved apart from people that i had messages from that were originally closer when first messaged
